Good location for travellers driving through the area. Lots of little things that showed the owners cared, and put the effort in to make you feel comfortable. upgraded room was nice. Service was friendly, and good Access to highway was good room provided was relatively quiet from traffic noise. Managers were so friendly and warm. I would go back because of them. Comfortable unit.
all reviews » Ease of access to m1 motorway and relatively cheap for Gold Coast. Clean. Central to where I needed to be. Awesome prices at a awesome place. excellent service. staff were friendly and the motel was convenient to where we were going that night. There is really nothing you can do about "old" other than a complete makeover. We didn't use the restaurant. Close proximity to business attending. Room quite spacious for price and good kitchen area and generous wardrobes. Ease of travel to gold coast and atractions. Location. Management excellent. Location close to motorway. all ok. staff were excellent , service was excellent, friendly accomodating people. Bed was clean and comfortable. peace & quite. The restaurant was first class. Close to town. Age is showing, but maintenance is keeping up. Small TV screen. Restaurant closed on weekends with no breakfast room available. Microwave would have been good and more that just a teaspoon for cutlery. The bathroom window as others can see in from their balcony just needs something at window. Reception staff could have been more, friendly, courteous and obliging. It seemed like an imposition for them to produce a tax invoice. Room was very dim and therefore a bit depressing. Poor ceiling light and NO lighting over the bench/desk. This is always important to travellers. Noisy local traffic. :-(. Motorway noise. No toaster in room. No hanging space. Bed had huge dip in the middle, extremely uncomfortable. No wi fi. Hole in fly screen in bathroom, it let the bugs in. Small tv attached crudely to the wall. The room smelt a bit because the shower must be leaking through the wall and it was all mildew. Very old, outdated rooms. only a small thing but a tea towel and detergent would have been good; and MUGS not cups;thanks. quality of the hotel rooms, very poor and run down. We stayed in another hotel the next night, it cost 20 dollars more per night and felt excellent. Just by painting the hotel rooms upgrading the furniture, changing the beds the motel quality could be improved. It felt very run down and tired. We would not stay again. A bit run down Hot tub was cold Pool was dirty Was downgraded without a discount. walking distant to other amenities the club courtesy bus left us till last because we on way out of town. The room had paint peeling off walls and ceiling; it smelt; the smoke detector was in a draw and not fitted;the mattress needs replacing, for we kept falling into the middle; the a/c was noisey and was not turned on; their was no exhaust fan in the bath room; the lock on front door needs to be replaced; the tv could not get channel 7; the noise from outside the room was excessive; on departure it took us 20 minutes to find someone to settle the account;. It was aged, clean only were you could, see behind doors under beds shower not very clean. Two cup and saucers no cutlery,no glasses no biscuits, you would do better in a backpackers. We were very dissapointed. I tried to book in at 11pm with my pregnant wife. But they have overbook and release our room, leaving us in the winter cold of 9 degrees. they best they can do is refund my credit card.We had to sleep in the car with young n preg without water n heater. We had reported to letsbookhotel.com immediately.
