Location was near the beach and a short walk to either Broad Beach or Surfer's Paradise. The 750 line bus stops directly in front of the accommodation and highway buses are also easily accessible only about a minute or two away by foot. There is a mini-mart a few minutes' walk down the road and a proper super market a little farther down (maybe a 15-min. Walk). The facility was clean, quiet, and the owners were very accommodating and pleasant to chat with. They helped with booking all of the va.
all reviews » Can not speak highly enough about Surfers Beach Resort One. Upon arrival, my girlfriend and I commented on the cleanliness of the apartment. It contained everything you would need if you were planning on being out and about for most of the day. Although the building contained many other apartments, you would be forgiven thinking you had the place to yourself, that's how quiet it is. A 15 minute walk from some great places to eat and shop. Our host Paul was sensational, everything from being abl. I had a very pleasant stay at Surfers Beach Resort One. It was much better than staying at a hotel, it was more like my own apartment. It was very clean and I think it had just been painted as it had a very fresh look about it. I would definitely rate it a 10 as far as accommodation goes. I couldn't ask for better accommodation for what we were looking for on our budget. The owners were more than helpful in letting us know things that were happening around the area and where we could locate the shops we required. Looking at booking again for next year. Lovely place to stay. Close to the beach, quiet area with bus stop out front to take you into shops at broadbeach or surfers. Owners lovely and very helpful. Room comfortable and spacious, kitchen well equipped and cute deck. This isn't a hotel where someone will come and turn your bed down and tidy up after you; they are rental rooms. It's like renting an apartment for the duration of your stay. Your landlord isn't going to come and clean up after you... I expected that going in and didn't have a problem with it. Absolutely nothing. Nothing!!. blunt knives,toaster didnt work properly.sharp edges on bed.a lift or easier access to units would be good. Having to leave. Be aware that there are no lifts.... not a problem for us but may be for older people. none. Problem with toilet seat and cover. Neither would stay up. I didnt like the fact that we got accused of breaking a chair and putting a hole in the wall. Very disappointed. will never recommend this place to anyone going to surfers paradise as they took money out of my credit card to pay for it before i even had my say..
