It is very clean and comfortable to stay in Camden Motor Inn. The bed is soft and toilet is very clean. The owner is very kind too and gives us a lot of tourist info and ideas. I and my family are very satisfied of the stays in Camden motor inn. Besides, bus stops and restaurants are just opposite the motel and Mermaid Beach is 2 min walk. I really enjoyed my stay with my grandchildren and have told my daughter to stay there when she goes down the coast. It is conveniently located to everything you need and the staff are very friendly.

I noticed while laying in bed how much fluff/dust was trapped on the stucco ceiling. I suffer from asthma and was concerned about the amount of fluff which had accumulated on the ceiling. With fan or air-con going, this fluff was being blown around the room. Minor problem but needs to be attended to. The location wasnt the best but thats reflected in the price. Can't moan about this!. Not enough light at the kitchen bench light switches in your back when sitting up in bed A bit tight getting in and out of the parking. Not much parking on site, but there is always the street parking. parking underneath and narrow road. Parking spots a bit small. Charged for delay in checkout (10.40 am instead of 10 am). Furniture is a little dated. Car parking is tight. No phone despite phone book. No hot water for plus four hours. Mentioning about cleaning the room in the guests absense. Prior mentioning is wise. Building stating to get a bit old especially air con. The driveway. well over priced for location and quality of furniture etc. Too noisy, dirty. On arrivsl the windows were slightly opened & both rooms stunk of smoke. People were on the balcony smoking. We had no shampoo so had to go across to the shops. The guy behind counter was outside on balcony smoking. As a result of the smoking It triggered my asthma. After complaining not even a sorry he just blamed the people before. Worst place ive ever srayed In.

FROM GOLD COAST AIRPORT: Follow the Gold Coast Highway North for 25 minutes, drive through Nobby Beach and continue North for 1km. Drive past Camden Motor Inn, which is on the beach side of the Gold Coast Highway and do a U turn at the next set of traffic lights at Markeri Street. You will find us 100 metres south of the traffic lights on the corner of Tamborine Street and the Gold Coast Highway. FROM BRISBANE AIRPORT: If you are driving to Camden Motor Inn from the North, follow the Pacific Highway South. Turn off the Pacific Highway heading East at Exit 71. Ensure you are in the left lane in preparation to take the free turn left onto Nerang Broadbeach Road. Continue along Nerang Broadbeach Road until you reach a large roundabout. Continue straight through onto Robina Parkway and turn left onto Markeri Street until you reach the T-Junction; which is the Gold Coast Highway. Turn right onto the Gold Highway and travel 2 blocks and then turn left into Tamborine Street. Here you will find our entrance on the right hand side (we are located on the corner of Gold Coast Highway and Tamborine Street).
