A very nice place to stay. For the price, you cannot get a better place than this. I will mention the things that I liked: 1. Its like a house, you have the chance of staying there, cook have your own thing, has microwave, stove, kettle, etc. 2. Its just about 10 min away from everything in Surfers Paradise and ffrom the nearest beach. 3. Bus stop is about 5 min walking from it. 4. BWS is almost in front of it, so if you want to have some cheap drinks and get them to your room, this is the plac.
all reviews » Had a very pleasant stay low cost so we had money to spend very comforable beds , very nice staff n ppl around were very nice , very clean was suprised at how clean the shower n toilet was being it was shared but had no disappoint on anything being there I didnt want to leave 5 star rating all round and a big thankyou for sharing this experience with us. For budget accommodation the value for money was excellent. The cleanliness in all areas was above excellence. While the rooms were basic ( to be expected) they were well set up and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and kind. The premises were within walking distance of shops and Australia Fair. Good location near bus stop and lots of shops, decent pub with restaurant across the road, away from the noise of Surfers Paradise but not too far away to travel to, tv room and showers were simple but nice, lady on reception was friendly and helpful. I'd stay there again in the future. Location was ideal for me; staff were friendly; and awesome for getting me a quiet room and somewhere to park off the street; it has windows not aricon - hooray. Karren is one of the house keepers very nice lady, very helpful, quiet place to stay even on weekends close to shops and a jog away to the beach. my daughter and son told me that arrival accomodation had confortable beds, so, they slept well and toilet was very clean. 1) Affordability, 2) Location, 3) Secure parking, 4) Great little Bistro in the pub just down the road very convenient. the service as %100. better that the other hostel I've used before not to far to walk to where I need to go. staff was very friendly, I enjoyed my stay. Good parking security, and friendly staff. staff was friendly, I enjoyed my stay. the staff if very nice and it did offer me a comfortable and peace place to sleep. Clean and spacious bedrooms. Nice kitchen. staff provide some info which is good .. 1. Beds are quite small, uncomfortable. 2. Shared rooms like the living room of dining room should also be for hanging around with friends, drinking etc. Currently it is prohibited. Theres not 1 thing I didnt like all good in every aspect. Nothing. One of the windows in my room (no. 16) didn't close properly but by the time I found this out reception has closed and I needed to check out early so I couldn't notify them. This wasn't a hassle though. I didn't expect too much so I was never disappointed :). 1) Lack of advice regarding bedding & linen requirements. 2) The fact that the office didn't open till 9.00am when I was working on daylight saving time and had to leave for NSW 3) Couldn't redeem deposit for Key as I had to leave early so had to request that they refund to deposit by post!!!!! We shall see. lots of leaking taps- shame to waste water. the kitchen is bad, can say nothing can use at all, most of the facility is '' dead '' and which concupiscence is not desirable for the backpacker for saving money as we cant cook there.. pls improve this ur hotel will be much better .. Location, little bit far from Surfers Paradise. Comforters and pillows are old and shabby. First room allocated the light & fan didn't work. Pots & pan handles broken & unusable. No can openers, cups, dish cloths to wipe down benches. No sheets on double bed on the 2nd room we were allocated requested sheets, so took 1 sheet off single bed (son slept in this bed) & placed it on double bed. We both only then had bottom sheets. Just as well my son & I were seasoned campers & could rough it a little. But sad to say lots of things were very lacking too. the internet net signal is very week and my laptop cant find it but i still pay 10 for 3 days ..only can use my cellphone to log it but too weak to use and not refundable , thats sucks .. also the booking cant be extend if the flight delay and this take my money away that is not so desirable. kitchen needs be improved.. internet net shall be free... Smell cigarettes.
