The setting was quiet and peaceful and the birds were abundant. It was great to walk around the golf course and down to the beach. Lovely surroundings. Close to beaches and great views. Conference staff were great. Room size and view good. General outlook and condition. Golf course was a pleasant surprise. Meals, room and facility is first class. friendly helpful staff, restaurant food excellent, very clean comfortable rooms, fantastic gardens/setting.

No shop within walking distance (onsite 'shop' very very basic). Should be aware of patronage and place couples away from young families (children). only criticism was the towels in the bathroom were small and only one each. My personal details (surname) was listed incorrectly on the computer system which made finding my booking difficult when we checked into the hotel at 2.30am. No pay TV (which was advertised) Chrildren playground not able to be used (upsetting for families) As we were on the lowest floor there were stairs which made it difficult with luggage. Resort rooms looking tired and in need of refurbishment. Only 1 jet working in spa. I thought the bathrooms could be bought up to date. Internet. Poor attitude by reception staff. If you arrive by taxi once you check you have to carry your luggage to another building (re room 2409) and in the rain. No shuttle service. Also signage re rooms is poor. I was disappointed that the restaurant was not open on the night we were there. We were offered a meal in the bar area or room service - now what I was looking for in the overnight experience. Having driven from Sydney I was not looking to get into the car and drive back into Coffs Harbour for dinner. The room was like a dungeon The room had a damp smell as if it had been flooded at some time There was mould on the wall and bathroom The front desk service was bad. Needs a complete revamp. Over priced for the overall offering, quality of the decor - old and outdated, food average quality and expensive. Disappointing overall.
