it was very clean the staff were very very helpful. they were very obliging as we rang them direct to book a cot for our grandson when we arrived at check in everything was there for us. fully recommend to friends. I liked the layout of the accommodation and we would stay there in future. The ease of location, parking and short cab fare to town centre. It was close to beaches and cafés. Staff were very friendly and accommodated our late check out request. Very comfortable apartment.
all reviews » well appointed and clean studio apartment just right for two people. Loved the dispensers over the vanity and in the shower. The one bedroom apartment was very spacious and comfortable for three people. I liked the additional toilet in the laundry. Room upgrade from studio to 1 bedroom was very well received. Spacious room, easy secure parking, friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay, room was lovely, with a beautiful view across to the ocean, lovely pool area. Lovely and quiet. Walking distance to Dickies Beach and Surf Club for meals. Main bus route into city. For our purposes, the proximity of what we needed to be near that weekend was great. Secure undercover parking Modern Restaurant on site No traffic noise Easy to find. Cleanliness, facilities and price. Close to shops and other retail stores. Friendly staff, location, clean and roomy apatments,. The prompt service provided by the staff. there was everything we needed. Good location. Peaceful. bed was super comfy. All was just great. All of it :). You get what u pay for. All the necessities are there. Good pool/spa area and parking. good position and pretty quiet , appartment spacious. The property was what I expected nothing more. th e size of the room.very clean. Basic but every thing you need. security was fine,beds comfy,. I liked it for the distance it was away from walking distance to a retail shop. Not a lot. there was nothing to dislike. I didnt like finding cocaroaches in the kitchen or the lounge, there needs to be an upgrade on the pest control. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for us and our two small toddlers. The two bedrooms were separated by self-closing and locking doors, this was a problem with our 2 and 3 year olds. We ended up having to put something under the doors to stop them from closing and locking the outer door. This wasn't made clear when we booked it. Long walk to room. Restaurant was Indian which we don't eat so went elsewhere. Exterior not as appealing as interior. When we checked in and were told our room number was 3171 and we walked around and around trying to find it and when going downstairs to reception to say "we can't find our room", were told,"Oh no, you actually use the key in room 3170". We just thought that was very silly and that we should have been told 3170 in the beginning instead of wasting time. Surely, that room number could be changed on the door, and also, I am sure we were not the first people to have encountered the problem. Noise of other occupants Small room size (studio). Everything was good. Possibly a little bit too far from town centre. too far from the beach, couldn't walk there. N/A. Nothing. have to leave. Our balcony consisted of a wall and the internal walkway.. The soap pumps were all empty. property is dated and a bit industrial looking on outside and corridors. That the property lists its self as 4 Star with is is far from this. matress was hard. too near the main road. needed a security sliding door. in need of a new kettle. Didn't have a good sleep at all the bed was rock hard!. we had to carry suitcases up from the car park stairs, walkways very narrow, our room had no view other than a neighbors back yard.no toddler pool. we where woken up at 3 am in the morning by someone in a room tring to bash the door in and a woman sceaming.The yelling and demestic altercation went on for a couple of hours.Do you have any security in the building after hours for this sort of behavior?If not i surgest you need some or have a number avalible for guests to call. Key cards did not work the next day, was locked out and was unable to get to my car as key cards did not work. There is a lack of supervision in the pool area. there is a camera pointed to the offending area. On my stay pool cleaner for some reason looks up to various apartment balconys in early morning. There was one night there if we didn't have our children we would of participated in the activities. Last of all when your are a parent the last thing you want to see is two nude males together. Location and food. It was actually so far away from caloundra... Definitely not central whatsoever.. It should not not not be named caloundra central apartments. The apartment I stayed in was not very clean, the toiletries in the bathroom were used ones & nearly empty. We booked a 1 bedroom apartment onky to be given a studio and told if we didnt like it to find somewhere else. The manager was rude and arogant and I will tell everyone not to stay there and there pictures are a lie. The lack of a window, balcony or a view! Stayed in better at the Gold Coast for the same price. Would not waste my money & stay there again. Over priced for what is offered.
