Clean and tastefully appointed rooms. We were a mature couple travelling with our mature daughter. The owners son who I gathered worked on mainting the Motel was very pleasant and very much open for a chat whenever we encountered him which made us feel very much at home. Lovely garden which would be ideal for children to run and play with a nice barbeque area. All in all nice place to stay and good value for money.
all reviews » i liked the location, the room, the kitchenette was great and the kitchen Sunbeam equipment was a bonus. i cooked a lot of great meals. the layout of the room was good, it felt like home. Laundry service was great. and the Costumer service was FANTASTIC. We came for 1 Night BUT we Stayed for 3 Nights Because we liked it so much. Landscaping was great and the Herb plants on the gazebo ware a pleasantly useful. Simple clean & well equipped accommodation with parking right outside our room. Friendly reception with easy check in/out. A little bit on the edge of town, but that suited us just fine. Really good quality bedding and linen. Immaculately clean. Quiet in the room despite being quite close to a very busy road. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. Good location - just out of CBD. When booking be gave our credit card details, which should have been recorded and charged to our account when we arrived. This was charged to us weeks before we actually stayed. This has never happened before and we have stayed in many, many motels around Australia. This is not on and should be illegal. If you're after resort-style amenities, this is not for you. It's a basic hotel room. No complaints. Room was a bit old school, but expected for that price. Nothing our stay was excellent. Had to ask for the WiFi password and our room didn't have a bin. Room could do with updating. The walk back from the bar. Perhaps a swimming pool would be nice addition. Nothing. no milk in fridge staff unsure of local eateries. a little out of town. the sliding glass doors and screen door on the entry to the room. 125 mb free wifi hardly warrants the big sign out the front stating free wifi. Nothing. The guy in the reception, maybe he was manager, was not very helpful at all when we asked if we could check in about an hour earlier than normal as were travelling to a wedding in Bangalow. He said we should have booked the night before as well if we wanted the room earlier! Would have cancelled if I had spoken to him earlier. Noisy, near the busy road, quite a long way out, you will need to drive everywhere. Breakfast could have been included in the price. Squeaky bunk beds. Some large bugs were in the room which was disconcerting: due to large gap under door. to far to walk. Unfriendly staff Location. A little over priced for the quality of the room. On a main road so not a quiet nights sleep, but bearable.
