We arrived late after an extremely long journey from the uk and were immediately greeted warmly. We were told all about our room. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept well. The bath/wetroom was absolutely ideal for my wife who is disabled. It was quiet even though it was close to the breakfast room. The continental breakfast which was included was unlimited and it was lovely to sit outside in the courtyard to eat it. We were allowed a later check out and actually allowed to stay on pr.

As my daughter is in a wheelchair everything in the rooms was perfect, especially the bathroom, without losing anything in the way of stylish presentation. Being close to the city without the price tag that can bring for this sort of quality was outstanding. And I was really impressed with eco awareness in the motel i.e.sensor lights,. The room was terrific, spacious and very comfortable. A lot of thought has gone into what a guest might need. I loved that there were herbal teas and frozen dinners in the freezer...very thoughtful. Everything was so clean and tidy. It was an easy drive to Brisbane Entertainment Centre and Chermside Shopping Centre...perfect for a sisters weekend. A pleasure to stay in!. I didn't like the fact that the toilet window opens onto the foyer, I would prefer to keep window closed and have an exhaust fan. The room doesn't appear to have very good sound proofing. We could hear every footstep from the room above till all hours of the morning. We could also hear all the other guests voices and front doors slamming shut (which woke us up). Could have done with a coffee plunger (or espresso pot) and a lemon squeezer in the kitchen. Secure parking was never available when we needed it as half of the underground parking was reserved for hospital staff, we always had to park outside. A false alarm with evacuation of the building at 2 A.M. was a definite disadvantage!. Would have liked the option to have a hot breakfast. While the instant coffee was included, the price of the expresso coffee to a captive clientel was expensive. Our short stay. N/A. Probably the only criticism I would have is the breakfast. I was told it was a continental breakfast which was fine but the fact that the only spreads were peanut butter, honey and vegemite was disappointing as my partner dislikes all of them and would have liked to have some jam which was no where to be seen. Otherwise a very good stay/. I had no complaints. Nothing!!. Only negatives were the balcony floors were very dirty and needed a good mop or scrub. The basin in the ensuite was badly cracked. Very basic breakfast selection. Our room faced the very busy street intersection with traffic noise all night and very early in the morning. Rear apartment would have been more appropriate, especially as we had a small child with us. Nothing. I didn't like being charged on my Mastercard 4 days before we booked in. I was prepared to pay cash. I will be cross if there are any bank charges to pay. The continental breakfast was very skimpy. Some options for short term stay guests with dietary issues i.e. gluten or dairy free would be helpful. Fridge not being in a cupboard, was noisy during the night. Some people on the floor got very noisy on the last night I stayed and that was disappointing. No problems. Breakfast somewhat limited choices. Floor was sticky, washed with dirty water, Smelt of strong domestos not a fresh inviting smell, slightly over priced. Water could of been hotter. There was an empty Coke bottle on the floor under the coffee table. The airconditioning went off when you removed the room key from the power outlet. nothing I can think of. There were no signs to say that the complimentary breakfast didn't happen on a public holiday.If we had known we would have bought something from the supermarket that we visited on the Sunday afternoon. Instead we had a cup of coffee in the room and then had to head off to find somewhere to eat. Nothing. Nothing. Maintenance wasn't up to standard in our room. Drinks and food in the apartment expensive Outdoors eating area spoilt by grubby tired looking chairs. Breakfast room did not have same standard as remainder of apartment. The fact that breakfast was not supplied on a public holiday. I didn't have a car and my husband was very ill in hospital and this caused a lot of stress that day. Nothing all was well catered for. breakfast,could have a few more choices. car park facility .. we arrived back late one night and there wasn't a car park available .. we had to park out in the street otherwise our car would have been towed breakfast fee we paid .. we expected more choice for what we paid. Cleaners could have been more thorough. Having the same linen for 5 days even after requesting it be changed. Road noise, although it turned out to be not as bad as we thought it was going to be. No jam at breakfast and the apples were very green not nice.
