Everthing went smoothly the room was quiet and comfortable for us both. I booked through letsbookhotel.com for a double / twin room and found on reading the print that a twin room could note be guaranteed. I emailed the hotel and was told that a note would be put on the booking and they would make every effort to accommodate my request. I was very happy when I opened the room door to find I was not going to have to share a bed with my adult daughter. Thankyou.
all reviews » top location close to all good restaurants, cafe and retail shops. Superb swimming pool, spa, sauna & steam bath. Room is comfortable and size is good and large bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with so many choices and healthy fruit juicing drinks definitely value for money for a 4 star hotel. Gym facilities. Proximity to everything. Bathroom was nice. Hairdryer was good. Robes were nice. Pillows were nice. Heater was nice. Room service was quick. Food delivered was excellent. Check in and check out were quick and convenient. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Location is brilliant. Staff is great and were particularly accomodating with our last-minute late-checkout request. Rooms were lovely and impeccably clean. Rates on letsbookhotel.com were really affordable. With prices like that, I wont stay anywhere else in Adelaide. I thought the value for money was exceptional, the security bond was very reasonable and I can not fault the staff, facilities, or cleanliness in any way. The full breakfast was beautiful and I was happy with the overall experience. Wow, wow, wow - is all I can say about our stay. The deal was amazing, and from the minute we arrived, Rick the concierge greeted us like family. All the staff were exceptional as was the room and the hotel in general. Wow!!. It's poition is fantastic for access to the cafes and shops of Rundle St and the East end. Great location and staff were very helpful especially the valet parking attendants, we had bicycles on the back of our car and require access several times during our stay and it was never a problem. I would have like a location map of the hotel and its facilities in our room. I couldn't find one. I believed that I had booked a room with a balcony and there wasn't one which was disappointing. The impression I was given by advertising was each room had a balcony. There was a stain on the quilt. The bathroom had a hair in it when we arrived and a brown spatter on the wall next to the toilet. The internet connection wouldn't fit my brand new lap top. I think that perhaps the room felt a bit generic and lifeless, I understand that it would be difficult to mix it up with the amount of rooms you have but maybe some nice wall art with colour, or flowers or something to make the rooms more welcoming. Not a thing - didn't want to go home!!. Unable to flush toilet in room on departure day due to unfortunate problem at hotel with pipes. For a girl who wears make up the lighting was very dark, very hard to apply in the dark when getting ready to go out. The cost, would of loved to stay longer but just couldnt afford it. Ground floor wifi didn't work at all. Parking a little pricey with no alternate parking options. I liked it all. understaffed in restaurant for weekend breakfasts. Chaotic service as a result,with lost orders and terrible burnt coffee . There was nothing that we didn't like. The view from our room was overlooking an adjacent carpark - but we got a cheap rate so didn't have great expectations. Bar and restaurant a little expensive - but again not unusual in a hotel of its class. Rack rate high for non business travellers or those on a budget. we had hoped for a twin bed room but were OK with the king size bed. Couldn't get a booking for dinner at Salt even though we called several days before but that's due to Xmas period I guess. Nothing. lack of plates and cutlery to have a quiet snack up in our room without having to use room service. Nothing!. nothing. The hot tub wasn't working during our stay and that was very disappointing! The pool was a bit on the too cool side and the steam room smelled very musty. We go to the Crowne for the spa amenities so were saddened that they were not top notch! :-(. Nothing not to like. the room was a little small. I wasn't warned that standard rooms all look straight into the carpark. Luckily I was able to upgrade or I would have gone to another hotel. There were 2 cigarette butts on my balcony for the duration of my stay (I don't smoke). Small Pool. living that great hotel amaizing staff so prefesional. Lighting could be better. Pool a little too cold for our liking. No free internet provided in the rooms. -TV sound is poor as speakers are not effective close to the wall. -Did not detect switch for fan in bathroom -Can't clean toilet as there is no toilet brush -Tray for suitcase narrows walking through. Everything was great, Besides one person while having breakfast was a little rude to me and his other employee's Which made me a little cross as He was obviously one on the Head people for the morning. When we went to collect our car and luggage after we had gone for an hours shopping we expected to be greeted with the same level of high service however it took the receptionist a good 15 mins to locate a concierge to retrieve our car and then when we asked where our luggage was she was unsure. It felt as though they had received our money and therefor the customer service was finished.
