This is a beautiful place, with a unique layout - each floor is higher up the steep hill. We were on the top level, which has the best view, and we loved it. The room was big and the gravel balcony delightful The desk clerk (manager?) was extremely helpful, even offering to mail postcards for us. Very friendly and considerate staff in a beautifully laid out hotel built from local materials. Each room has a view across the valley to the multicoloured cliffs opposite the town.
