Great location to reach both the brazilian side (the lodge will organize taxi transportation if requested) and the argentinian side (local bus about 5 blocks away). Rooms were large and clean with air conditioner. Across the street is a market to buy water, snacks and souvenirs. And about 2 blocks away is a good restaurant. The staff were very helpful with anything we needed, and when our taxi didn´t show up for the airport the owners even drove us there at no extra charge. Definitely would re. all reviews »
The family-run lodge is excellent, very clean, no mosquitoes, clean swimming pool, warm welcome by excellent hosts (they even gave us a free meal from their lunch when no restaurant was open), dreamy place in the jungle but close to the main road. Across the road from a restaurant and a night club.
As back packers it was budget friendly which was important. The location
suited us as it was close to the bus stop,and only a 10 min walk to
town. It was safe but dark to walk to restaurants at night. The staff
were helpful. Internet was free. Breakfast was ok.
Palo Rosa Lodge is very conveniently placed if you want to catch a bus to the Iguazu falls. The owners are very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our stay there very much. We highly recommend this place.
The pool. Friendly, helpful staff, family run. Dad poured me a glass of wine while I was sitting in reception checking email. Cabin in the jungle, lovely setting.

The place is a bit far from the city, but if you like quiet and friendly places this is the right lodge to go to.

No WiFi in rooms. Mossie bites if you forget to put on repellant (Doh!).
The frigde made a bit to much noise (cooling water), so I had to unplug it
