This place is big and very well run. While a bit rough in the room but it was fine. The pool and courtyard make you feel like your staying at a 4 star resort. Good prices on booze and the restaurant. They have a taxi stand onsite, the drivers are good and have nice cars, we had an amazing dinner at a fancy restaurant Quinkos? Our first in ARg, was impressed with the place. Of course the falls are a must visit. We left with good memories. Really nice to sit around the pool in the shade or the.
all reviews » Clean and comfortable stay in a private double. It's a large hostel with many facilities including a travel agent and a large pool out at the front, although we didn't get to try due to rain. The next door hotel has an extensive buffet menu, and it's not overly expensive. The bus stop is right out the front. 30 ARS to the falls by bus and 3 ARS to the city centre. There's a taxi rank across the road as well, 70 ARS fixed to the falls, 100 ARS fixed to the airport and there's no need to book in . Very friendly and professional staff, special thanks to Arnaldo! Bus to/from the falls stops right across the road. Large pool with nice surroundings, spacious communal area. You can leave your things to their free luggage storage and use the pool and shower after check out. Free computers,free printing of bookings etc. Double room is very simple but ok, good air conditioning. You can pay in different currencies, for us usd rate was very good. The pool, the breakfast, and the easy way to Iguacu, there is a Busstation in Front of the Hotel(and also Hostel-Inn), one way costs 30 Pessos. Taxi is also very cheap in Argentina, but not to the Way to the waterfalls. Then it costs 200 Pessos. But you can stay a half day in a taxi(we drive from there to paraguay, have lunch in brasil and get out a the bus terminal) for 600 Pessos. it was honestly more then i had expected. awesome pool and the stuff is so friendly and helpful! hostel is clean and has a huge entrance hall to chill out. the rooms are great, with aircon! and its easy to organise all the iguazutrips, use the hostel as a base for all the adventures :D. The pool was fantastic for cooling off after a hot day trip to Iguazu falls! In general, Hostel Inn was a really nice hostel with comfortable rooms and a fantastic common area if you want to play pool or chill out on the couches. Located 5 minutes from Iguazu town, 15 minutes from the entrance to Iguazu (Argentina) and pretty close to the airport. Food was very restricted but had everything you needed. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Pool and many places to relax. Kitchen available. Laundry service. Activity concierge available. Breakfast included. Helpful front desk. Younger crowd. This is a great place for young adults to hang out. The swimming pool was great and the hostel is a less expensive way to stay "close" to Iguazu falls. You get what you pay for and it's a quick ride to the falls; supermarket at adjoining hotel "complejo americano". - the swimming pool - nice 160 degrees garden view from our private room. Internet did not work in the room but worked ok in the lobby. The breakfast was alright. There were bananas, cereal, variety of breads + spreads and artificial tasting juices. The place is a cheap pad to the falls, and not located for easy town access but frequent cheap buses makes up for that. The power went out once each day which prevented wifi access and the some of the computers didn't always work. Poor breakfast. No mirror or hairdryer in our double room. No safety box. The Hostel-Inn was overbooked and they telled us only when we arrived there but we stayed near to the Hostel-Inn in a Hotel called: "Marcopolo" for the same price and get a ride from the Hostel there. I think this place was better, but it was not the Hostel-Inn. Internet was a bit slow but that seems to be the norm for hostels in South America. Don't prepay for a transfer to the airport and receive a ticket for the cab. They don't all accept them so just pay in cash. Intake procedure for check-in was a bit disorganized. It was really noisy quite late at night, which isn't really their fault. There were also flood lights outside our room that shined through the edges of the curtains which was a bit annoying at night. My mattress was very bad. We were told to have a discount in a parrilla, which at the end wasn't true. The burger baps. We went to have dinner around 8.30 PM in the hostel and the choices of the menu were very limited. - its so big that it feels like a factory, especially when breakfast is served. Breakfast and dinner very basic. bathroom. I can't think of anything. Restaurant didn't offer much variety. Took about 2 hours to get a room as their Servers dont sync with Banking.com On a regular basis. And we had to take a taxi to the town centre to get cash. The Breakfast is...:-(. This is a potential goldmine. What a pity that half of the facilities is not working (pool table, computers) or not really clean (kitchen, pool). The air con in the room was so noisy we couldn't have it on during the night. It was really hot, it was hard to find some place cool in the common areas as there are fans but no air con. In the end we went to our bedroom early as at least it was air conditioned. It was a little run down. There was loud music in all the public areas that went on until midnight. The beds could use new matresses, but we walked so much during the day that we slept well despite the loud music and mattresses. The comunal showers and restrooms were in need of a thorough clean. The dinner buffet was quite expensive and a bit disappointing. One night they ran out of salads and side dishes. Quite a lot of noise during the night from some sort of party in the comunal area. Private room was OK despite urgently needed renovation, despite aweful music; noisy and old A/C; dinner to be thought of twice, check with restaurant at at adjoining hotel "complejo americano". - staff isn't friendly, let alone contributing to the 'fun athmosphere' they advertise. Of all hostels and hotels we visited in Argentina, we found this place to be the least kind and worst qualified staff. - the BBQ and the chef are good, don't bother with the rest of the kitchen food. Breakfast could have more varietes. Uncomfortable bed, loud music until late, poor breakfast options. my least favorite was the location. No internet or wifi .... Staff didn't answer calls ... so for us, connecting with travel changes and transportation didn't happen. These were things we had prepaid and because of lack of communication through contact, caused us extra expense and worry. Not things you want on vacation. Also, as mature guests we didnt appreciate the loud music continuing past 11pm. Outside of town. Very tiny breakfast, outside of Puerto Iguazú. price that we got on bookin.com was almost the double price that was taged on the hostelreception. we claimed that we should get the price that is marked in the hostel, but the manager disagreed. but the next day they changed the price marked on the reception...! nice way to solve problems... Everything in our dorm room was damp. The location of the hostel is a bit far from the bus station. I was there during a very rainy 3 days, and there was no heat or any way to dry my clothes, which remained very wet since the room was so damp. Rooms are dirty Bathroom is dirty Sheets also Bed is horrible But then again it is a hostel. very cold room in winter, humid, freezy, and likely so the common areas; very old kitchen without microwave. The food was dry and very poor. Our double room had a strong smell of mould and we had no toilet seat. I told them but didn't bother changing rooms as we were only there 1 night. The bar guy was really unfriendly, didn't smile once and seemed as though it was a hassle to make drinks Breakfast was very simple Location is far from the centre (although we knew this when booking) but I would suggest staying closer to the town if you want restaurants, bars etc. poor breakfast; employees at reception not always well informed/helpful. I was there in low season and was on my own in a room so it was harder to meet people. The pool isn't heated. They really want to charge you for everything. The rooms and toilets are so dirty. They do not help you at all when you have a question to ask. The food is not good.
