the couple running the place are the nicest people ever! any problem you have they will do anything they can to help. it feels like you are staying with friends. the place is not the nicest but they are doing renovations soon so things should be better. but really it all doesnt matter thanks to the amazing treatment you get from the owners. ohh -and there are towels!. Great design of the place and very friendly staff. The place is well taken care of, it's a pleasure just to stay and pass the time. Very nice choice of tours, sleep quality is excellent. The location is it's plus and minus. Plus is that you are actually not disturbed by the street noise so you sleep. There are also restaurants and supermarkets very close.
all reviews » This was my second time in the most friendliest hostel I've ever stayed. The owners are young couple and a so much excited about their business / you can feel it in any thing they do. They organize regular BBQs, trips out to the vineyards as the guides and fellas. Managing couple are fantastic at English! Fresh, nice showers. Just positive mood!!! 8). Staff is incredibly helpful. So nice to have someone around all the time. Very helpful with info and other assistance. Good wifi. Good breakfast, great kitchen, clean facilities. All was perfect. The owner and the staff was so nice and very helpfull. The hostel is very quiet and close to the bus station. A nice place to be in Mendoza. Staff were amazingly friendly and always on hand to help. It was clean, spacious, and the staff were great. The hostel is quite basic but still nice enough for a short stay. Staff is lovely and very helpful. However (see the minus points) I would stay there only if you are looking to be away from the city center and its life!. Minus would be that it is a little walk into the city center (15 minutes). But for those who want to take a bus they provide bus cards for free. Its a walk into town but the walk is nice and felt safe, anyways it is close to the bus station. A bit out of the way, about 20 minute walk to the peatonal/centro, but close to bus station.. Room was VERY warm at night, though fans helped make it tolerable. At first I didn't think it was aesthetically very pleasing but they are renovating in may, this is only a minor matter and in no way affected how much I enjoyed it in the end. Too basic (for me), and really far from the nice Mendoza part. It took me 3 days to discover the other side of the city, which so much nicer and lively. May be this is a off-season thing... but yeah, wouldn't go back.
