We booked 2 nights and ended up staying an extra night. We are not big soccer fans but booked tickets to a game at the Boca Stadium on 24 May and wanted to stay at the hotel to have the full Boca experience (why not?). The hotel is excellent, hence our extra night stay. We had a room on the 9th floor which was quiet, spacious, well appointed, with a huge bathroom and big comfortable bed. Great desk staff, superb rooms, good breakfast, good location handy to the subways and walking distance to other sites. There is sometimes a language problem for english speaking guests in regards to details. Tv did not work during the 4 days we were there. They tried to fix it but did not work. First room they gave us had the toillet all durty, really durty... disgusting. Location was decent, but would not walk outside alone at night. No issues during the day. TV system does not work well. Despite the room wood floor was very clean, the floor mat was very dirty. Nothing I did not like. Ticked all the boxes. In some rooms there isn't a desk. Bit of a walk from the main attractions. Nothing. Staff not very attentive and it was impossible to sort out a double- booking issue because the lady at reception did not speak English very well. When I ask the invoice note, they said that they couldnt give it to me becouse I book behing letsbookhotel.com. What made very difficult for me to comprove the expanse to my cia. Even if we paid the booking in advance, they should give the invoice for the clients. The roomservice is not 24 hours and it is very difficult to call taxi. nothing. Staff was not proactive when we requested for a late check-out, nor names or room number was written down and we were not informed of the availability of the room. Reception staff other than one young lady totally disinterested really did not care. I don't know why this hotel has five stars. Usually we sleep in much cheaper hotels and this was not worth the extra money. The breakfast was very poor, they didn´t have variety as fruit, yourgut, bread and they didn´t replace things quickly. They have a late check in, after 3 pm. On Sunday, I left the hotel early, but even that I had my room cleanned after 4 pm.
