The front desk staff were excellent. They helped us book tickets for excursions, called for transportation, gave detailed descriptions of how to get to places of interest. There is a very good restaurant on site. friendly staff, super breakfast, easy to get to anywhere (apart from temporary roadworks which should have bben completed by now), lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance, quiet room, good internet.

Several of the main roads in the area were being ripped up, so there was a lot of noise, dirt and unsafe areas. Although, we changed our room to a larger one, it still wasn't very spacious. It did have a balcony with an uninspiring view. Plastic curtain in the bathroom. I had to pay a caution fee with a credit card without being warned in advance about it. On check-out they canceled the operation, but did not gave me the receipt. Ingrained stains on bedroom carpets. Extensive renovation work being carried out outside hotel which made it seem like being on a building site. Room very dated, particularly bathroom, and requires refurbishment. Nothing!. the double beds were not comfortable for a 4 night stay. after the second night we had backaches. beds are getting worn. Hotel is dated. Problems with wifi. The room that we stayed in definately needed refurbishment: worn out carpet, several pieces of furniture were broken, toilet seat was loose. Shower worked very poorly. Breakfast a little chaotic. WC cistern kept running continuously and blackout blind was jammed in the down position. In fairness they switched my room but the replacement room also had a few issues. Poor value for money. We asked at the beggining if we could all be in the same floor and that we would prefer double bed than 2 singles. And nothing was done to accommodate us better. Every one of my friends were put in diferent floors. staff was rude, the hotel was hot, the elevators kept breaking, the breakfast was boring, they didn't clearly indicate they would put a hold on my credit card, they didn't identify that the price didn't include taxes.
