The guest house is placed in a modern building, and the apartments are large and well-equipped. There is a huge balcony with nice sun exposure and sea view. The terrace is large enough to park your car, and has a small playground for kids. The host is very helpful, and meals can be prepared for you on demand. It is a bit far away from the city centre, and therefore from the crowded and dirty beaches of central Vlora. Very nice clean beaches with modern facilities are within walking distance.
all reviews » We were unsure what we were going to get when we got to Vlora, however this little hotel made the trip. Our hosts were so accommodating for everything. They picked us up from the Bus Stop, they cooked for us, their courtyard was amazing and an oasis away from the city. Value for money, clean, you can't expect much more from a hotel of this value. If I every returned to Vlora, I would stay at this hotel. Guest house Nika was perfect. A real haven. Benny and his family was extremely welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. The guest house has been built very well, the rooms are spotlessly clean, and Benny has just finished a really nice patio with brand new furniture. A great place for breakfast, which was very tasty. My only regret was not trying Benny's cooking, which the other guests raved about. The owner and his wife were extremely helpful, accommodating and hospitable. Such a lovely family. Filling breakfasts were a welcome surprise after staying in hostels. Beni went out of his way for us - driving us to and from bus stops, into town to price things up etc. Food was delish, but a bit pricey for our tastes. Will be a fantastic area once all the construction of Vlore is complete. Real nice guest house, clean and fresh beds. Its close to the beach and you can walk or take a cab in to the centrum of Vlorë for ca 500 leke. The hosts are great, real friendly, they speak perfekt english and if you want they can fix breakfast and meals. They fix transport to/ from the busstation. It was great staying there!. We loved it. Their rooms were big and very clean,they owe their own parking .Our hosts were so accommodating with everything,their breakfast was owesome.they cooked a wonderful dinner for us.They speak fluently english.My favorite place so far.I will definitely be back. We had a wonderful holiday at the Guest House Nika. Near the sea. Very nice owners speaking excellent English. Rooms clean and well maintained, frequently serviced. Nice, well-kept terrace. Closed parking. It is possible to order meals. This accomodation FAR exceeded our expectation. Appartment was new, superb clean, incl. Wifi, AC. A big thanks to the owner who drove us for a pizza at midnight. A great place to stay, I strongly recommend. Super friendly family-run hostel with nice rooms and reasonable room rates. The breakfast was very good aswell, special wishes were no problem at all. The family is extremely helpful and hospitable. nice place with super hospitality, run by a young family who just returned from living in the USA. Great location- near beach Friendly, family-run Clean, light room. The main access to the guest house is a hardly transitable road just about 100m long, but nothing that a careful driver can't get through. All good. Bathrooms :/ sit-on-toilet-whilst-showering set up.. floods floor so beware. Not ideal location if you want to be in the bustling centre as it is located a bit far out - but its a nice and easy enough walk if only wish to go into centre a couple times during stay. shower is literally on the toilet, and a little small. BUT everything is super clean and can't ask for much more at this price :). Location is not central but it was not a big issue for us.
