I liked the way they took care of us from day 1 till our last day. Mr. Tuan welcomed us very warmly. Everything was on time. I booked everything from Splendid - airport transfer, tours and accommodation. They were very flexible to cater for our needs. Our Ha Long Bay Cruise was cut one day short due to bad weather and Splendid contacted other hotel room for us. Splendid gave the best service among the hotels we booked in our 3-week indochina tour. I thank Mr. Marvin who assisted us even at the .
όλα τα σχόλια » We booked here to get away from the noise and bustle of district 1 and it was well worth it. Great hotel, pool, breakfast, room with balcony and good wifi. Can walk to district 1 in about 20 minutes maybe a bit longer but taxi's range from 40,000 - 90,000 vnd depending on traffic etc. Victory hotel was a great place to stay, very spacious and nice rooms, and a swimming pool with a view. Its also a great location - 1 minute walk from the war museum and 5 minutes from the market. I even got a massage on the top floor!. Lovely pool on roof, can get busy but quiet 11.30 till 2 pm. Good breakfast, helpful staff and close to shops and sights. Ask for directions to au parc, a lively place for brunch, or red bar for live music and good food. The hotel was worth money? The breakfast was good, so was the pool and the hotel location close to the War Museum. Value for money. Liked the swimming pool. Very helpful tour desk operator got us last minute train tickets. Getting a taxi and exploring Saigon is easy enough to do from this location. We liked the fact that the hotel is situated in the less touristic district 3 near the War Museum. although a little bit out of the way, the hotel is still near all major tourist attractions. There are no other hotels nearby that will offer you a swimming pool at this price near the city center. Good location for most of the sights. Had a massage paid for hour body with half hour leg and foot. Both asked for me to write on a pad any tip said 30000 vd for one and 20000 for the other somehow at the desk this changed to 150000! Will not use again!!!. The swimming pool is outdated and not very clean and very crowded with locals who are getting swimming lessons. The breakfast service was substandard for a 3 star hotel. The same food was served day after day after day. There were no attempts to change anything. It seems as if everybody was comfortable with what they have been serving. Breakfast buffet doesn't cater much for western tourists Front desk staff insisted on us paying up front for our stay, were quite abrupt in their manner. The massage was weird.. Itook that with my husband and they put us different rooms which were so tiny. Had to pay 6 dollar for checking out one hour late. Swimming pool is more like public pool, dozens of kids get lessons and everybody who pays 50000 dong can use it. Breakfast was very ordinary !. Food in the buffet was cold tasteless and over priced. the most uncomfortable bed ever!!!!! Was like sleeping on a board of wood. Rooms smell of cigarette smoke. Carpets look very dirty and worn out, need shampooing. Pool time should have limit hour for non-hotel customers. I check in and I was at front counter the Reception not even say a word or greeting and I stood there for more then 20 minute try to get her attention, no tahnk you no sorry and not even say have good stay. The service at cafe for breakfast the staff not even say good morning to all guest that is coming for breakfast, waitress no smiling, only one cook that is prepare fried egg is smiling. attitude of staff food atrocious rooms terrible value for money. bed head had termites chomping away reception staff were rude and very unhelpful they charged us more than the booked amount and claimed it was due to the exchange rate, except the booking was already in the local currency so there should not have been any exchange rate difference the rice at breakfast was a week old and smelled and tasted off.
