Villa Mon Ami is a family-run guest house set at the foot of Slavkovský Peak and only 300 metres from the centre of Stary Smokovec. It is a good starting point for hiking in the High Tatras. Free Wi-Fi is provided. Housed in the traditional building with wooden elements, all accommodation units feature a private bathroom and a TV. Some come with a balcony overlooking Tatra Mountains. The Mon Ami was incredibly well located for the train station, local restaurants and ski slopes. We were welcomed and although there had been a mix up and we had only booked a double room our daughter was quickly accommodated with no fuss or problem. The room and bathrooms were faultlessly clean and we enjoyed the breakfast in the cosy breakfast room. We would definitely recommend the Mon Ami and stay here again when we are back in the Tatras.
