  Location and quiet staff - I was made very welcome. The lady owner/manager was charming and sensitive, and the gentleman who helped with my luggage and my car was warm and friendly. The hotel is old and interesting and the private garage parking for 5e per night was fair.

  A lovingly restored 19th century home in a country setting on the banks of the river Dordogne. We had a lovely room at the rear side of the building with a little vine-ranked balcony directly overlooking the river; at night only the sound of the river wildlife, beautiful. The ensuite bathroom was good as new, with a taste of luxury. Sat round table with 4 other guests and enjoyed lovely evening.
