I would not have appreciated my visit to Nice as much if I had not stayed at Villa Leonie. Over-all, the atmosphere was exceptional. They are located in a quiet garden setting, but are just a short walk away from grand scenic views of the coastline, the ocean, and the best view of the entire city of Nice. όλα τα σχόλια » A wonderful location - about 5 minutes from a small and relatively quiet beach and a pleasant 15 minute stroll along the sea front into the old town. The welcome couldn't have been warmer and the room was very comfortable and clean. Being able to sit in the lovely garden to read and have breakfast was a real added bonus. If we return to Nice we will gladly stay at Villa Leonie again. A lovely garden surrounds the Villa Leonie and the perfume from the Jasmine is intoxicating. The appartment was excellent and the high ceilings gave a great feeling of space. All you need for a perfect stay is here and Clemence the owner is the perfect hostess. The atmospheric period of the Belle Epoque continues in the public spaces and enhances your stay, Enjoy. This was a very nice place to stay in Nice. It is situated in a quiet, relaxing setting just on the edge of central Nice, a couple of minutes walk to the harbor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was also great to be able to have a kitchenette in the apartment so I could eat breakfast there before heading out for the day. Very friendly staff. Told us what to do and where to go, etc ... you can hear the cars from the main road a bit, but not a show stopper! We stayed in the top floor which has 1 king plus 1 single bed. You can see the ocean from the window, which was really nice. The location is excelent The staff excelent (Many thanks especially to Clemence for her very good advice and kindness) Bus station across the street, seaside very near, good location of the villa Romantic and very comfortable place. Very friendly and helpful management. House decoration belle epoque - well converted into appartments. Hotel security very good. Five minute walk to the old port and boulangerie. Easy pubic bus connections to gare SNCF. Clemence was wonderful and we really felt welcome. The rooms were clean and tidy. 1- Proximity to Old Town 2- Easy access to main town and adjacent villages. Very friendly staff, warm welcome, good location in Nice, charming atmosphere of an old villa with old furniture. Good cleaning and well equipped. The room I stayed in was a little worn down but it was not a problem. We liked everything, but next time we would prefer an apartment with sea view and balcony. Bit too close to the main road. Repairs to old furniture should have been carried out when we were out of the room rather than when we were having breakfast!!. We didn't realize the room we booked was a loft and wasn't big enough for three adults. No one at reception most of the times. Our appartment (#1) in the souterrain was well equiped, but unfortunately some of the old furnature provided an unpleasant smell, and especially in the bathroom many traces of black mold were to be seen and the smell was somehow present in the whole appartment.
