We loved the room which was a converted priory complete with vaulted ceiling and chandelier. It was across the lane from the cathedral which was spectacular. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. It was a really quiet location with a comfortable bed. It was a great base for visiting the Somme battlefields -

The Le Carlton is in a great location within walking distance of the train station, cathedral and city centre. The room that we had was spacious, clean and we appreciated the double glazing. The staff were amazing and I would like to congratulate them on being the most helpful, professional and pleasant people that we have dealt with. For example they went out of their way to assist us when our Somme Tour operator didn't arrive at the designated time.

We had a balcony overlooking the cathedral which was lovely especially
at night with the lights glowing. All members of staff were extremely
helpful and seemed to want go that extra mile to assist us. Old

Excellent, helpful staff. The location is very central, being ideally
placed to enable one to leave the car in the car park. With Paris just
over an hour away by train it was ideal. The room was lovely and the bed
extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the free newspapers and magazines and
the minibar (free) was refilled with soft drinks every morning. For four
nights it was very much 'home from home' and I expect that we
shall return.

Very conveniently placed within easy walking distance of the Gare,Cathedral and central Amiens. The hotel appeared brand new. It is ingeniously designed to provide everything you need--modern bathroom, desk space, closet, suitcase bench, coffee kettle, TV, wifi--in a compact space at a fair price. The location is ideal for visiting the cetre. the cathedral and the university area as well as the older section of the city. Parking is reasonable as there is a speacial of 11 dollars to come and go freely for 3 days. The food is very reasonable and good value. The rooms are well arranged and have every comfort you would need (except room service for those who might require it).

This hotel is in the centre of Amiens. The location could not have been
better. Accomodation was good although basic. The breakfast was typical
French, well presented and fresh. I stayed just one night and my room
was on the third floor with no lift. I would imagine if the stay was

We spent two nights at the beautiful La Maison d' Euphrasie whilst
visiting the battlefields of the Somme and Amiens city recently. This
