We really enjoyed the pool especially the pool bar with my wife, drinking mohitos and watching the romantic sunset.   The Olympion Asty was a fantastic experience! The rooms were sparkling clean every day, the pool was perfect, we were in it all day long every day. And the food! It was excellent, as was the delicious breakfast. The location is beautiful, there is such a great view of Olympia and the parts of the coast. If you happen to drive there from Athens ... was die leute sagen » (or near there) the mountainous route is very scenic and not too bad to drive. Definitely talk to the hotel if you want an easier route, we did so on - The hotel has a pretty setting, on top of a hill above Old Olympia. The large swimming pool has great views (but not over Olympia btw) and is a marvellous place to wind down after some serious archaeology. The personnel is very friendly and speaks good English. The rooms are in separate buildings, a bit like a typical US motel, with only ground floor rooms. They are quiet, large and clean.
