  Mr. Sigalas is a wonderful host! He picked us up at the port and drove us to the villa. He had us laughing and feeling like we were part of the family. His two daughters run the reception and they will arrange anything you need. They were able to set up rental cars, restaurant reservations, boat trips, whatever. They had only been open for 2 years when we stayed there, and Mr S - I liked everything. I have been to Santorini before and the overall standard of accommodation is high at every price level. It is highly competitive too. What makes the Sigal stick out is the unassuming nature of your hosts, all members of the same lovely family who are always cheerful and overtly helpful without straying into the poncey attendant type operation that Santorini seems to have sprouted in abundance.   Good choice for inexpensive accomodation in Santorini. It's a traditional Cycladean island Hotel, run by an nice and helpful family, who welcomed me openly to Santorini. Algyro and Nikos are fantastic hosts and couldn't do more for us which included a pick up - I’ve travelled around Europe and this villa is one of the most impressive ones I’ve ever lived in. The owner is really nice and picked up us in the port at 2 am, which we never expected and became a huge surprise. Besides, it provided a luxury breakfast and the owner would clean the whole room quietly after you leave.
