The rooms were very clean, staff were very helpful, pool and jacuzzi were clean and well set out. the hotel is very central to all shopping and very accessible. The friendly and helpful staff were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location of hotel. the bed was very comfortable in the room, the food was great in the hotel restaurant, the bar area was friendly and relaxing and the jacuzzi in the spa area was lovely.

Didn't really use the hotel facilities, just the room. Very central to food places and bars and clubs. Taxis available outside the hotel. Leisure Facilities, Central Location. very central, friendly staff. the staff were very heplful. the lifts were scary, doors didn't open at the right floor and it banged as it went passed floors. there was a bit of damp on the wall in the room and the batroom could do with a bit of updating otherwise it was fine. The smell of paint everywhere. Rooms too small. Having to park in a nearby NCP car park, although this is typical of city centre hotels and a small discount on the parking rate was available. I feel the site could have pointed out the car park discount available. There was building work going on (although known when booking so not an issue). The bed was very 'firm' to say the least,and not as comfortable as one would have wished.not enough coffee in room. price of room service.we only had one bath towel between 2 adults. the room decor was a little grubby but they were in the process of redecorrating the floor. Decor was a bit past best, needs some TLC. i thought the bedroom was a bit small but it would not put me off staying again. lifts were slow, at times it was quicker to walk down six storeys than go in the lift. only two lifts for 600 plus rooms. small step from hall to bathroom os about 1 centimetre was causing me to stubb my toe but thats being realy picky. The room needed decoration, and the shower was way too powerful before I got any heat!. loud guests in early hours of morning.Reception did not have our booking and check in took a while as a result. No HotWater on our Arrival...Fire Alarms went off at 6.50am. i pre book 2 twin rooms over a month prior to arrival,when we got there we has 2 double rooms,we mentioned this to the reception desk and was told no more rooms were twin rooms were available because of a party that was arriving that day and couldnt be changed. All staff members were foreign and sometimes difficult to understand. . Shabby room...but I did ask for a smoker room and I guess these are always the last to be refurbished. A little overpriced for what you got. room could do with decorating as could corridors. breakfast....food and choice good....service slow.I had booked a twin room however when we arrived we were given 2 singles. boiler broken down so no hot water all day, fire alarm went off at 7 am but these things happen i suppose!. the lack of any leisure facilities. My room was above the services door, it was very noisey of a morning (early).
