The Hotel is spotlessly clean. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. It is very close to the city center with lots of bars and restaurants on the way in. I would recommend The Mercat Gastropub for the tastiest food and drink and very friendly staff. The Hotel breakfast is superb and will definitely set you up for a day of site seeing. I will stay here again when I return. Excellent. Everything was spotless. Very carefully chosen quietly elegant decor. Expensive modern bathroom fittings and loads of hot water.. Surprising since the hotel was very cheap!! Excellent room heating controls on a very cold day..no problems. Proprietor friendly and very helpful re parking (a 15 minute walk away).
所有评语 » Excellent hotel with first class facilities, modern en suite with a really good shower.Run by the family who are very hospitable, and the breakfast choice is very good and would recommend the Scottish breakfast!. Staff very willing to make us enjoy our stay. Room was very comfortable despite being on the second floor (no lift). Breakfast great. Very convenient location, walking distance to the city centre.The hotel was really clean and quite, and the owner of the hotel was really really friendly. I had great time and if I will visit edinburgh again, I will stay this hotel again!!!. Room was very nice, clean and comfortable and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again and will recommend to friends.The room itself was awesome, we had a very spacious room with a four-poster bed and excellent lounging opportunities. Also, the breakfast was very good!. within walking distance of all we required.Loved the nice touches in dining room. Lovely crockery and tablecloths all make it more special.Very friendly staff. The hotel was booked as a birthday present for my daughter who found the staff friendly and extremely helpful, making their stay special. The hotel was very clean and we would have no problem recommending others to stay.Clean spacious room with freshly cooked breakfast. The location is a few minutes walk from Haymarket train station and a 15 minute walk to the west end of Princess St. the room was nicely decorated , warm and the beds very comfortable . Bathroom extremly clean and well presented The breakfast was superb. Very friendly staff. We were allowed to check in early (as we had come on the sleeper train). very comfortable bed!. The staff were very helpful, even helping us find a place for one night on our retrun.The inn keepers provided excellent service --Taxis, Information, etc. Breakfast was excellent!. made very welcome by staff and had excellent service during stay could not fault anything. We had to spent one night in another hotel a couple doors further down the road, but the room was cosy and the breakfast also nice.Slight problem with ensuite heating but proprietor was quick to rectify this. car parking facilities were told that car parking free on sundays in city so left it for 4 hours to get new ticket old ticket ran out at 135pm got parking ticket at 145pm so beware if you park in morrison st car park !!. could tend to be a little road noisey. Possibly needed freshing up in the public area...hallway, otherwise no. the lack of parking. Stairs. In the bathroom the only toiletries was a bar of soap. Not the hotel but the reservation service:Our reservation was never received by the hotel even thought you confirmed it with me so when we arrived, they were not aware of our reservation. We were lucky that they had 2 room the first night but the 2nd we had to all four share one room. I was not happy that they did not get the reservation from you.The room was cool when we arrived, but it warmed up later in the day. Only the concern I had was that how we gona get out in case of fire as our room was in the basement and the windows had the bars.
