We were made very welcome, the room was very comfortable and the entertainment and dining area was clean and tidy. The saff were vey helpful in giving us directions to the venues we needed to get to. The road works around Blackpool made things difficult but the staff could not have been more helpful with the directions they gave us. We will be staying there again later in the year when we go to another concert. The location is very central and convenient for all the shops and theatres. We have .
所有评语 » After reading the reviews I was slightly worried about the hotel but on arrival the staff were brilliant, check in was quick and smooth, they'd gone the extra length to make sure they have parking for all guests. Breakfast was lovely and served quickly. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. We had an amazing weekend and the service was second to none! I'd highly recommend the hotel!! Amazing value for money!. i thought staff was friendly and easy to get along with, the attention to detail of our family room was exellent, pillows lovely and soft, lovely and clean and spacious. I would definitely stay again it was the best hotel I've stayed in in Blackpool and value for money. Breakfast was lovely too. Staff are among the friendliest I've met in any hotel, good humoured and always helpful. Good location, just 5 minute walk to sea front and trams. Nice bar area and tables available outside front for smokers. If we visit Blackpool again, we'll be staying at the Lawton again. It was just a short walk (a couple of minutes) to the town but out the way of all the noise. Staff were friendly and accomodating. We had a cot in our room also and there was still plenty of room for our aon to play. Hotel provided free car parking which not alot do. Love everything about this family run hotel. It was the ideal location for me, close to the Winter Gardens for a Bob Dylan concert I was seeing and the promenade and Tower. The staff were both helpful and friendly. I would certainly recommend this hotel for a stay in Blackpool. Four of us stayed in one room and it was bigger than I expected. Clean enough and had everything you need. Really good for the price. Breakfast was ok and the dining room spacious. All in all, everything was good for the price. The lawton was a brilliant hotel we were looked after from the moment we arrived.my mother has only one leg an she had no problems whatsoever her room was perfect and I would reccomend their disabled rooms for anyone. Staff's attitude and attention to detail- friendly prompt and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. They quickly dealt with some troublesome guests - drunk lads - and soon had atmosphere back to normal. All up to standard. Rooms were a bit small but this is an old building, not a new purpose built hotel so didn't expect much anyway. Negative comments from other guests. U pay 3 star money don't expect 5 star accomodation. It really is valve for money. I wouldn't say I didn't like anything because I would be lieing but the only thing I would say is the rooms could do with updating I.e. decorating. Otherwise perfect :). Nothing. I wish we could have had our evening meal at the hotel but it was out of season and not possible for them to do dinners. Some of rooms were a bit tired and small. But were adequate and clean , this was the end of the season also. The showertrays and tiling were past their sell by date...but they were clean!. random ppl knocked on our door in the middle of the nite on 2 occasions. Nothing. The room was quite small and a little old fashioned. Nothing. Walking into the foyer with a seven year old, and being met with loud swearing and adult humour at teatime, and again at breakfast from clients who were still drunk. Maybe a basic written behaviour code would prevent offence to other clients. electrical point in bathroom didn't work & tv kept freezing & losing signal (but this could have been the weather). Room was a little cramped fora family of four and bathroom was even smaller. the stairs to the top floor. The steps outside are a bit high. I was woken up by room below until 1.30am,. nothing. Shower needs updating. Do any of the rooms have baths?. We booked wheelchair acessesable room with a wet bathroom only to find there was no shower drain hole in place but had a low leveel bath. Which was of no use to ourselfs,the gentleman we spoke to was helpful in trying to help us shown to other rooms which we not suitable as we could nt get wheelchair in .Hope they will think about putting in a shower. We used a shower stool and a jug!!. Little bit pricey for quality of hotel, needs updating in bedrooms and public areas. very hot in room on top floor so had to have window open all night and could here the party animals in bar and outside in street all night which kept the little one awake will make sure i research abit more next time but a very nice place to stay. The only problem was the groups of girls knocking on our door and running off at 3-4 in the morning. It wouldn't stop us from staying at the hotel again though. We knew there would be some noise especially on a Saturday night. there was nothing we did not like. the fact if you are only staying for one night the fact you cant book dinner for that nighy. the attitude of some members of staff left a lot to be desired. the lack of of sleep due to other guests on saturday night not thinking about other guest would like to sleep & not be kept a wake which was reported to night staff at 12 20am & at 9am which we have emailed the hotel but after 4 day still had no replay back. Wanted very late bar and karaoke as some folk had complained at this yet would have been great for us.... My hangover the next day. LOL. The bathroom in our room was vey small and dated. Decor a bit tired.
