Location was amazing. Starbucks across the street, shops, restaurants and Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas within walking distance. Equally close to the metro and sightseeing tour buses. Coming into the airport, I was able to get on the inexpensive Aerobus and get dropped off at Pl. Catalunya which made it even better when carrying my luggage. This hostel is much cleaner than ones I've stayed in. Privacy in the showers with enough space to hang your things and change in the stall. The wifi worke.
所有评语 » This was my first time in a hostel & it was a good experience. Location was the best. Placa Catalunya is a good starting point to see the whole of Barcelona, links to the whole city from there. Next to La Rambla, supermarkets & several high st shops. Rooms were spacious, loved the plug socket, nightlight & privacy curtain. To save money I bought food from local supermarket & used the hostels kitchen facilities. Very useful under bed lockers, my belongings were always safe there. The location was excellet, a couple of minutes walk to Catalunya Square, and Las Ramblas. Lots of stores, markets, restaurants arund. Also the aerobus from the airport stops are in this Plaza, and the touristic buses also. The staff was impecable, breakfast was good, toilets and showers cleaned everyday. I stayed in a room of 8 beds female room, and its not the best way to get a good night sleep, but if you are in the mood of a fun, cheap staying in Barcelona, thats the place. Everyhing was so lovely, I loved this hostel. Staff is making good job, the people stay in hostel is very friendly. The security is always the first principal. I highly recommend this hostel everybody. Economical prices, center of the Catalunya, near Rambla and metro stations, walking distance to everywhere whatever you need. The roommates are very funny people. Dont think come to St. Christopher.'. Hostel staff are perfect , especially the guys who are generally at night shifts are very cool and very kind guys ! I did but I also want to thanks them by you if you confirm them I will be pleased the hotel is at the center its very good and also clean and nice looking , the bar and breakfeast is also nice and I really liked this hostel too much. Absolutely amazing staff. Great location; couldn't be more central. Cheap drinks with a great vibe at night (people seem to migrate from other hostels to this one!) Seems to attract the loveliest kind of travellers. I literally couldn't recommend this place more. Thanks so much for the memories. <3. Very well located! Easy to get everywhere with the subway station next door. This is a modern/new looking hostel. They also have privacy curtains, large lockers under the beds for storage, friendly staff, safe, cool bar below that is usually very busy. I had a pleasant stay and recommend it!. Really nice stuff. Clean and comfortable rooms, everything is in very good condition. Perfect location if you are first time in Barcelona (next time you'll probably want to stay farther from La Rambla). Greatly organized shared zone. Nice breakfasts. Great value for money!. I liked the fact that it was so close to everything in Barcelona! It couldn't be in more central place! I also liked the service and the discount in the restaurant it had,as also the food! The breakfast also was pretty good considering the price of the bed. privacy of individuals (each bed has its hanging curtain), large safety box under the bed, located in the center, continental breakfast, toilet and shower facility, access to rooms and even lift through electronic card, friendly staff, budget hostel :):). i must say this hostel company is the best where i stayes the service is like a good 3 star hotel and not hostel.i stayed in diffren country this year and stayed mostly in st christopers hostel and also other but st chiophers is the best!!!!!!. perfect position, the staff is willing to help for any questions, they suggested me a delicous and cheap Tapas restaurant nearby and I love it very much! Nice breakfast with good quality of food. The equipment of beds match my expectation. I liked it and highly recommend it to St. Christopher's Inn, because it is very comfortable rooms and the service and quality is very good. Its location is central and everything is very close to the tourist places of Barcelona. Privacy curtain was the best. Very comfortable bed. Great bar downstairs where you can use free wi-fi and have a drink. Breakfast included. Perfect location at Catalunya near metro and airport bus. Very nice and helpful staff. The location cannot be better, you're right on Placa Catalunya, in front of a Starbucks and next to the Topshop. Everything is perfect. City centre, good bar, a discount on food and alcohol, there are vending machines food and water, good Breakfast for the money, fast wifi. On the first floor there is a mini kitchen. The hostel has everything a backpacker might need. A bed. Showers. Wifi. A pub. Breakfast (quite poor but still, a breakfast)... and the location is indeed great. Staff are quite cute as well :). Perfect localization in the city center. Well organised and very good designed. Atmosphere is excelent. If you want meet people from all around the world it's place for you. Good breakfast. All the hotel facilities, restaurant inside the hostel, breakfast was great and coffee really good and fresh, elevators for those who have big luggages, close to la rambla, easy to find. I really enjoyed the atmosphere in the hostel and also the perfect location, only a twenty minute walk from the beach but still it had the feeling of staying in a big city like London. Friendly staff, good location, great buzzing pub inside hostel, good facilities. Good food and drink options at discounted prices. Didnt feel the need to go to any other pub at night. It is right in the heart of Barcelona, near the famous La Rambla street. All the meeting points for free walking tour are at a 5 minutes walking distance, what could anyone wish for?. The location was the standout feature as being very central and airport bus service is excellent. I felt safe at all times and having the bar and food service is excellent. The location was excellent, the staff was amazing - very friendly and helpful. Possibility to rent a bike for just 15 EUR (24h) is a great add-on. The breakfast was nice!. The amazing location! this is my second time in this location.. Although it doenst have comfartable beds, location comes over that!!! choose ensuites.... The place was great, the bar on the power level was cool, the staff was friendly and it was really clean, perfect for backpackers. The location is amazing, its clean and modern, love the room setup and the individual locker...everything perfect. The location of the hostel is perfect that just few minutes to reach bus stations,shopping malls or restaurants. - curtains on beds - lockers below beds to have fast and secure access to suff - perfectly working free WiFi. I liked that. The hostel is really secure and organized and the bar/restaurant inside is pretty cool!. The staff are fantastic ,, Chris the bar man was really helpful and great at his job. The first day I checked in, I put my belongings and luggage in the locker and left clothes out on my assigned bed. When I came back later that night, someone was in my bed! I had to tell the front desk and get moved to another room. At least they gave me a bottom bed like I asked and I ended up meeting good people. It can get noisy, don't expect a good nights sleep! This is a youth hostel, so everyone is partying all night, which is fine if u want all that. Breakfast was decent but not really worth waking up for. Lockers are provided if u have a late flight after check out but are expensive (€5 for 12hours). Nothing. Just one thing I didn't like , I stayed at second floor of bunk and it was little bit difficult to climb there and in order to be its iron or smt like that it makes hands and foot feel hurt. Only two staff members at the reception, so you have to wait a looong time to be helped during busy hours. Breakfast would run out very quickly and they would take ages to replace it. A couple of mornings I woke up and the hallway + bathroom were a big mess. Cleaning could a little more effective. The use of computers could be free. As well as the storage of backpacks for some time after check-out. The toilets should be cleaning even more times, since some residents were not that careful. nothing noticeable :). its was old great nothing negatf. the shower water is not hot enough which might be the common problem of this hostel, cause I had a same problem when I stay with them in Paris. The food in bar is overpriced compared to the price level outside. On last day I asked a female staff for the direction of train station, she surfed the Internet for 30 secs and then told me a totally wrong place, which made me missed my train and being very hurry to catch my plane. The female dorm is a bit too crowded. I did not like not having been able to stay longer in Barcelona. Mold in shower. I would recommend curving up hooks in showers. They were straight out so I was always worried my stuff would fall onto the wet hairy floor. More often ventilate the room:)). I felt there were Too many ppl in one room... (and it smelled a ltl like all shoes combined)! Oh, And if uve gone past the "omg omg omg" years, u probably wont feel extremely comfortable w the amount of those ppl there. Just to remember, thats not a cons: - take a padlock and towel with you. Check in was complicated, the bed given to me was already taken and it happened to my new roommates as well during the week I stayed there. Not a big deal, they feel sorry and give you another available bed right away. We had an awkward run in with our roomate on our first night and he was aggressive, but otherwise we loved everyone else in our dorm. Some guys in my room had made a mess with empty alcohol bottles and cans and clothes all over the room floor. But this isnt the fault of the hostel. If it wasn't for the people in the room that don't keep track about the bed numbers it would have been impecable. Try to inform the reception if somebody occupied your bed, you might get a fine if you don't!. The showers :( Very little space and water... nothing. Sorry, nothing to tell.. Cold water in the shower (( I stayed for 2 days, first day was ok, but the second - no hot water. Not nice. Always have to wait at reception. One of the days a group was in my room and they were really noisy and dirty,sleeping all day long. Check out was too early. Check out at 11:00. Nothing to complain about really. Everything worked as promised, some things even better than promised/anticipated (25% off food in the restaurant downstairs, wi-fi was working in the dorm also). Sometimes there was no warm water, but as I understood it is not a problem of hostel.. In fact, I don't know, but there still was no warm water. It was expensive for what it was. I stayed in the 12 bed female room and for just a basic bunk bed and suitcase, it was more expensive than comparative hostels around Europe and within Barcelona. Staff should clearly explain the facilities of the hotel to the guests, it may not be an isssue if you stayed before the same or one of the same chain hostel, but as a new person to this hostel I find difficulty to familarise the hostel... It is just a matter of couple of minutes more while check-in.. otherwise its a wonderful place to stay. - water on the bath floor - a bit too much walking here and there at night as students are the most visitors - no smoking rooms. The staff could have been a bit more helpful. The mattress needed to be replaced desperately, and the shower water would only flow for a short moment before turning off (so you keep having to press the button constantly). Shower water turns off after 15-20 seconds, you need to continually push the button to take a shower. The kitchen(If you can call it like this) is way too small for so many beds. And there is small amount of dishes, glasses. there's even no cooking top, so you're not able to cook even the most simple meals. Only microwave... Bad exeperience with having dinners.... I couldn't use the wifi in my room. If i wanted to use the wifi, i had to go out from my room. It was a bit annoying.
