The view from our hotel room was amazing! Great view of the little lake with fountain and the area all around it. Great photo opportunities. Leisurely walking by the sea and terrific shopping within a minute walk from the hotel. Location is superb! Free breakfast was excellent!. Very convenient location - the airport bus stops right outside. It is also very close to the town and the port. Great staff who were very helpful. Very comfortable room, nice beds, big flat screen TV with channels in different languages, free wifi. Excellent breakfast.

Highly recommended. 1.Very nice location close to everything: Rail station, city centre, airport bus at door etc. 2.Comfortable room with views. 3. friendly staffs. Ease of access to city centre is amazing! Located strategically just a short distance away from the busy clubs and restaurants. Reasonably helpful/polite staff, great central location in the city, good breakfast, best of all great value for money. Great location and view.breakfast , as great. Big stain on the carpet. Housekeeping didn't clean the coffee area nor leave us with any cups for tea after our first day. No parking. You have to pay for outside not connected with the hotel and then walk all around 3 sides of the hotel with your luggage before you can enter. Air Conditioning is weak. None to suggest. Some rooms in the old part look... well, a bit old. I stayed in two different rooms and in the second there was a problem with the air conditioning and the room was quite hot. (to be fair we didnt report it so cannot say they didnt try to help). They could have a GYM. My friend paid the same rent for 2 persons but they got a poor quality room compared to us. So, this hotel shouldn't charge same amount for different types of rooms. The facility is a little bit old. - Internet very unstable - No gym - Old hotel in general. The lightening in the room - not very good for reading and working. sometimes a very small bathroom. None. The bed was too hard for me. Restaurant and the bar were closed on sundays !!!!. it would be nice if the hotel has a gem and a swimming pool. The room is not the same as shown in the pictures. It is smaller. The cleaning work was not done carefully. The quilts are small. We had to follow up on toilet rolls and soap. No concierge facilities. Staff were not very service oriented. We had booked a one bedroom suite for 2 adults and 2 kids they gave us a suite not separate room. then changes us but no beds for the kids. we had to ask 3 times for the extra beds. The staff were quite unfriendly when asked for information. Price is way over the top compared to Europe - some dude was using a leafblower half past 5 in the morning outside the hotel each day. told the front desk - but it did not help - guy was at it again next morning.. I was expecting more from the room, I found it too small and simple compared to its price. But Norway is too expensive also. I friend god a traffic fine just because parked his car in a parking lot side by side to the hotel to check in, but forgot (didn't realize) of the parking ticket - only a few minutes has passed... Room cleaner didn"t change the bath towel , no tea bag ,no milk. Think some renovation in the rooms should be done, especially taking into account that this is Norway and prices are high. Just all a bit old inside (worn carpet etc..). Extra beds from IKEA ??? Horrible for the 15 year old boy, ended up sleeping on the floor. We had a suite for 4 persons.... Room was too small, although it had everything you would expect. There are larger rooms in the hotel which I had stayed in previously. No safe in room. No rooms available overlooking lake. No gym. The hotel really needs a renovation... The temperature in the room hard to adjust.
