Absolutely loved the high level of service, just had to ask once and was provided in a flash, loved the location and view from the room and the homely feel of the hotel, the bathroom design concept is stunning, simple yet sophisticated. The Spa was world class in fact one of the best spas I have visited especially loved the thermal suite concept... everything, this is an amazing hotel. we went there to get engaged and had such a great time. we were upgraded to a suite which was a great start and our whole wkd was relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable. staff were amazing, they could not have done enough, food was excellent and the view was the best iv ever seen.
所有评语 » I liked our room which was overlooking the lakes. I am from Killarney originally and the view brought back so many happy memories. I was happy with everything, especially the afternoon tea. The breakfast display was the best I ever came across. Orla the receptionist was so pleasant & helpful. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful - quite the best I can remember for a long time. Beautiful views over the lakes and mountains. Breakfast delicious. Little touches ie candles, coffee and fruit water always available. Nothing was too much trouble. Very impressed would be happy to recommend. WeI felt really rejuvenated after our stay. It was the perfect break, but alas too brief. The front office Manager Siobhan was outstanding. Our daughter and her family were there for part of our stay They loved all the facilities and intend going back for a longer holiday, as indeed we do too. Everything. The staff are all happy you feel like nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious, the peach bellinis very moorish! The lake view suites have stunning views, We could have just sat and stared all day. Busy saving now so we can come back soon as possible!. Hotel exceptionally clean, rooms maintained throughout the day. Buffet breakfast is mouth watering and option to order hot food is good. Staff very friendly and hotel is in excellent condition. The spa was excellent and the staff were the best I have experienced in any hotel.The breakfast was exceptionally good and the staff good humoured and helpful in every respect. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the staff were just top class. They were very friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel facilities were excellent and the food was probably the best we've ever tasted. Very friendly efficient/intuitive staff, remarked that the view from our room was not as good as our last visit and no sooner said then we were upgraded to a beautiful suite with fabulous view. Laidback atmosphere. The design of the hotel was amazing , the rooms were very well designed the lake view was spectacular. The breakfast menu was varied. The grapefruit was extremely fresh and the omelette was cooked to order. Outstanding modern hotel with brilliant view. Staff was exceptional. A few miles away from the bustle of Killarney village (gladly). My wife had a superb spa experience. I would highly recommend it. Everything - the view from our room was breathtaking; the food was first class; the staff were super friendly; my kids were welcome. Would definitely recommend a visit. Staff were very pleasant to deal with...food was amazing and being upgraded to a lake view on arrival made the best impression..look forward to my return.. The food was amazing (lunch and dinner), the room was lovely and spacious, bathroom fab especially the free standing roll top bath, view beautiful. Staff were fantastic and very helpful , friendly and polite. if I had to pick something id say the pool wasn't really five star!. I liked everything. Would prefer softer pillows (personal preference) and more up to date tv. No tea/coffee making facilities in our room. Two of the spa steam rooms/saunas weren't working. It was like just sitting in a normal room but in swimwear. for the money I paid it wasn't up to the standard the rest of the hotel set. Getting to the spa was a little difficult unless you were directed. not enough signage.We were kept awake by noise in the room next to us on both nights we stayed, as if there were workmen working for an hour or so from 1.30 ish in the morning. we were in room 205. That we had to leave!!. Nothing. The time flew! would have loved more time. Our room was with a lake view and that made all the difference. I would not have liked being on the other side of the hotel. There was nothing that I disliked and will be recommending this hotel to friends and family. The pool is not what you would expect of 5 star by a long shot. The tv control it was so hi tech we could not figure out how to switch the tv control off , so during the night we kept browsing at the screen. We should have called reception. as the hotel is located in the country , it was necessary to drive into the town. N/A. Leaving!. Not much not to like. Nothing. We were denied access to the Spa as it was not part of our package which we did not realise and we were not prepared to pay an extra €25 each for 2 hours ...very disappointing. Can't think of anything. Dining in Heights Bar on low table. a little bit old fashioned room. nothing. The pool was compact and intimate but a bit small. We paid for a lake view but got a ground floor room which made it difficult to see the view. Should have requested a change but didn't!. its a little bit expensive but worth a treat to yourself. Directions to Hotel could be better. Google Maps link is spotless but signs before are misleading. Children in the Pool all the time !. The spa treatments were a lot more expensive than elsewhere I would have liked tea/coffee facilities in room, (complimentary tea available). Our bed wasn't that comfortable, and shower would only do hot, still much better than cold :). Zero. Food could have been better or a bigger menu at least. No major issue. Stay too short. As two friends and not a couple we assumed we would be allocated a twin room but got a double instead. Also we found that the spa was closed on Mondays. The room decor. The hotel is NOT to 5 star standard. I would not book to stay here again if it continues to represent itself as a 5* hotel. The hotel premises, bedrooms, exterior and gardens are uninteresting and little thought has been given to small luxury details. It completely lacks any wow factor or feeling of luxury. Bedrooms are particularly bland. The hotel view and setting is not going to be enough to ensure repeat custom.
