Staff are friendly, especially at the breakfast restaurant. Most reception staff are friendly and helping. The location is excellent. 1-2 minute walk from Alexanderplatz station where underground, tram and city train can be found. There are many places near by that rent bikes including the hotel itself. There is Alexa shopping mall 2 minutes away as well as Saturn (for electric and electronic equipment) there is gallery shopping mall for clothes and other stuff. Many restaurants are near by. It.
所有评语 » Just spent the first two days of our Honeymoon here in Berlin and stayed @ The Holiday Inn Alexanderplatz. After getting off the train and going in to a nearby tall hotel to ask for directions to The Holiday Inn, after the way I was treated by 3 members of staff of that hotel by just asking a simple question, it was pleasure to know that we had not booked to stay and that hotel and instead had opted for The Holiday Inn. Beautiful Hotel. Beautiful Rooms, Very Helpful and Pleasant Staff. Would hi. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from Alexanderplatz which makes its location perfect. The room was good size, clean and very quiet. Staff was friendly and the overall environment was nice. Disn't try tge breakfast as I thought 15€ per person/ per day was too much but you can easily find many places to grab something nearby. Overall very good value for money. Hotel has a very good location in the proximity of almost everything dowtown (museums, shopping centers, TV Tower, restaurants,etc) and close to all means of public transportation that allows you to easily get to any corner of Berlin. Nice personnel, with well furbished and clean rooms and provide the clients with a consistent good breakfast. Out room was nice and comfortable. The breakfast is extra, but is good, with a wide range of choices. This hotel is close to Alexanderplatz, which is a good place to catch the tour bus. There is also a train station at Alexanderplatz for wider travel. There is much to see in Berlin and it is well worth a visit. Wonderful hotel, Great location. The location is very good, although it is kind of hard to track the hotel. It stays 2 blocks from the AlexanderPlatz and that could be better explained at the hotel page. It is not at Alexanderplatz. Despite all, a nice place to sleep, with a very safe and busy neighborhood. The room is not big, however it is reasonable in size. Overall the hotel is very good. However, I think the price is not cheap. Again, it is fair comparing to other hotels in the region. All rooms without balcony and looks to be small.Deluxe and Executive rooms are small and almost there are no difference between a Normal and the Executive one - only minor facilities/differences provided for a quite big difference in price. We were fortunate to find a parking spot in the adjacent lot. It is a small lot and costs from 18-20 Euros a day (free on Sunday) There are a couple other parking lots near the hotel but they are even more expensive. No such thing!. Room a little small for 2 persons that wont sleep at the same bed. Maybe you would look for a larger hotel lounge. The breakfast was included in my reservation and not so abundant as you often find i German 4-star hotels. They had a nice Bircher-Müsli, the main ingridient for my morning meal. Towels in bathroom very small but only a very minor negative. The Wifi was not a good standard considering it was a large modern chained hotel. If you left it a while you would have to completely log back in, which was quite annoying. The Breakfast in the Morning didn't have a great selection and cost €15 which I thought was overpriced. More British channels would of been nice on the Televisions in the rooms. They seemed to cater for the other European countries but not the UK. nothing. Nothing. the room card had to be scanned on the lift goin up to rooms if wasn't scanned with the lift wont go to the floor your room is on. - Seemed kind of pricey for Berlin - Breakfast buffet was ok, but basic - Executive room could be larger. The breakfast area was very small, you may not find a table to have your breakfast. The taste was even poor. TV channels are mostly in German and there are not enough English channels. Check out is too early, we need to leave the room at 10am, Why? it's unfair! It's so happened that I need to leave the room early that's why I didn't complain!. Was quite loud outside as was on a busy road. Rooms a bit small, no minibar in the room. No fridge or minibar in room. Altough I ordered a delux room with view, the view opened at the inner patio of the hotel. Hotel: the room was not so big, and the bathroomdoor made of glass. Alexanderplatz has zero charm The breakfast was a bit expensive. Wifi was terrible, free but basically unusable. the hotel is a bit diffcult to find - the road is not present in some GPS - but a phone call to the reception helped us to reach the hotel. Some signs in the Alexanderplatz would help (the hotel is hided by a big old palace and is not easily visible). Also two elevators for 10 floors are few for all the guests and in the morning you can wait 5-8 minutes to find the elevator free. Nothing, the stay was ideal. The glass doors in the bathroom are not very comfortable. The breakfast room is too small for such a big hotel. Too few staff in the service in the breakfast room. Wi Fi difficult to operate, use of card keys not marked well enough. noice from passing by trams and/or subway (2nd floor room). Cost of breakfast was high. No minibar at the room:(. the lounge of the hotel was a bit small breakfast was a bit thin beside that everything was great. Room rather small for an Executive Room. Couldn't access the tiny clothing storage area without closing bathroom door. No storage drawers, either by bedside or elsewhere Pillows far too soft, even when we asked for firmer ones No ice machine. WiFi is a bit slow. Room cleaning is pretty annoying in the morning. Do not disturb was not clearly written and it was impossible to plug in usb or hard disc in tv port!. You have to walk a bit for restaurants, the ones in the hotel are quite pricey esp the French one. would be nice to have breakfast included considering the price paid. Price. Nothing almost. nothing. 17 eur breakfast isn't worth it Instant coffee wasn't always refilled.
