Staff were friendly and helpful even though we spoke no Portuguese. The hotel is organised very well, very clean and safe. We went for Carnaval, it was the perfect location for transportation links or walking to the many parties. Despite the street parties close by, the hotel is located just far enough to not hear anything at night and in the morning you wake up to a lovely clean street! The air conditioning is perfect.
