Really friendly and helpful staff on the front desk.
Great location in Lapa and inbetween Cindelandia and Gloria stations.
We had a double room which came with a memory foam matress which was really comfortable. There were 5 shower and toilet cubiles on our floor (about as many as rooms) which meant we never had to queue to use the bathroom.
It felt safe and secure.
It was very clean.
Hostel is in good location , near city centro and near beach 10min walking .... There is kitchen where you can prepare some tea or some simple meal.... 24H reception and always friendly people ....really very good , I recommend it !. 所有 评语 »
A good location to experience the nightlife in Lapa. The buses and metro are a short walk away so getting to Rio's other sites is easy. The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful.
Well organized public premises. Enclosed toilet + shower in the bathroom. Attentive personnel, clean bed-clothes.
Location was excellent, near everything, easy access, staff was kind and the cleaning lady Odete, very gentle and helpful.
IMPORTANT: if you stay here make sure you get a room on the opposite side of the club next door. I changed mine and it made sleeping a lot easier, although you could still hear the bass beat next door.
Also, the wifi only works on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and only in some of the rooms. Otherwise you have to use the common room.
All that being said, I believe the low price of a single room makes up for most of the negatives, except:.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Federico is very nice and since I was a sole traveller he took me to a typical bar in Lapa. A cool cultural experience.
the location was quite fine if you want to stay in the center.
There's really nothing that I could like about the hotel I will never go back there.
The rooms do not have windows and there is not wifi signal in the room ,,so you have to go to the common area ......
The bathrooms are all on the 2nd floor. I was on the 4th floor...

Small rooms, no windows, noisy environment outside the hostel.
The rooms are very small, dark without windows and very humid (because it used to be an adult motel) sometimes they may experience problems with the water in the showers and during weekends you cannot have silence in the room from midnight to 8 am cause the hostel has a disco next door and you hear the music as if you were there.
The bathroom! Holy hell it was never perfectly clean the entire 2 weeks I stayed. I'm not sure if this is the staff's fault or because of the patrons' disregard for keeping common áreas decent.
The wifi thing for me was a real pain, as it made it quite difficult to work.
The room didn't have any window, it felt awkward and not comfortable at all. I never slept in a windowless room before.

There are no windows. "double" bed is not really double, room doesn't have any space even to put the suitcase, no wardrobe, mirrors everywhere around you. No sink even though it was written we had.
I have a strong impression that it was a motel, place for 18+ turned into a "hotel". Wouldnt go there any more.
