The location was great, very close to the station. It was generally clean and tidy and the rooms were large enough. I arranged a group booking for 15 and they accommodated us all with no fuss. Most importantly, the hotel staff were fantastic and we couldn't have asked for a better service. I would like to say thank you to Bahar, Pipijn and Leyla who provided us with an exemplary service. I loved the price. The location wasn't bad either. It was three blocks from the Train Station, and there was a park next door. Breakfast was included, but I chose it seeing that another package for the same price was offered w/o breakfast. ??? The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I really liked that we were offered to stay till 1300 as a late check in.
所有评语 » The location near to Central Station is very good (many good and cheap restaurants around the station, from different countries). The staff was helpfull and kind. The room was confortable and the hotel was very peaceful, without noise around. Excelent breakfast, with very good variety of products. + the room was very spacious + quiet + tea-coffee in the room + air conditioner + situated close to the train station - 5 minutes walk, not so close to the historic city centre - aprox. 20 minutes walk, but it was not a disadvantage + an empty fridge in the room. The Leopold is a very atmospheric, clean and stylish hotel. Great location (close to Antwerp Central Station and city centre), very good breakfast buffet. Modern, cosy, comfortable. Really good value for money, a perfect hotel for couples. The hotel has a very good location, 15 mn on foot from the city center, in a relatively quiet area. Beautiful and very spacious and clean rooms (we had a family room which was very well equipped, with bathrobes, slippers). Excellent services, friendly staff, great value for Money. I will be staying in this hotel the next time i visit Antwerp. Only 5 mins walk to the Antwerp Central station. Walking distance to all the FnB. Simply Excellent. The General Manager is very committed and very attached to the comfort offered to her guests. She will do everything to make you feel welcome, a rare quality for a hotel of this size. I plan to return. Very nice position for access to sights and city center. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful both on reception and the hotel bar. Close to a train station, easy to find. Included speakers for ipads/other apple stuff in the room. Front desk were very accommodating, rooms were clean and confortable, close to transport hub. Location. The lifts, totally useless! Even though I was on the 6th floor I frequently took the stairs as it proved much quicker. Their parking lot was full because they only offered 10 spots. When I showed up at 2pm I was told we couldn't check in and NO rooms were available at all. Then another clerk steps up and checks in 8 people in two rooms. They made us wait till after 3 pm. :-( The view from our side of the building stunk, but again other factors canceled it out. The cleaning staff did not cleaned the bathroom at all, only provided clean towels. The A/C could be more powerfull. Compared to the bed, the room and the over-all look and feel of the hotel, the bathroom was a bit 'below-par': visibly older than the rest of the room, shower curtain, etc. Also, 'standard' (free) WiFi was poor. Hardly an internet connection at all, really. More powerful WiFi costs extra. Good quality WiFi should be a standard thing in a modern , urban hotel. The insulation of the rooms was not 100% efficient, we could hear the cars outside and the hotel guests in the corridors. The rooms on the lower floors are quite noisy, especially the ones at the corner facing the traffic light. Ask to be higher up. Nothing to dislike. The air condition was not working. Noisy out the front but we are used to living in the country with no traffic. Hotel is a little bit oldish (rooms; furniture; elevator) but depends on each person taste. Late check in - 15.00. Nothing. Pitifully slow wi-fi. Room was not serviced on Sunday. Nothing. Lack of parking. - the entrance is out of style - the neighbourhood around midnight doesn't feel safe. the price!. Hallways had old foul smell. our flight home as early saturday am from Brussels. we needed to get there and girl at reception recommended shuttle from Bergenen train station. she looked up all the details but never booked a ticket for us on the shuttle or told us that we had to reserve a seat on the shuttle. since there was no bookings at 4am on the shuttle the shuttle did not turn up. we then had to find a taxi and pay 200 euro to get taxi to airport!!!. Although I made a reservation through letsbookhotel.com, with a specific request for breakfast, I was very surprised to have learnt that breakfast was not included. I found this very inconvenient. We had to pay additional city tax which was not stated in the hotel description. Very small room for deluxe type, old bathroom facilities, quite weird design/color scheme of the room, bad view from the window. Noise in corridors late at night, being charged city tax for two when single traveller, hotel system appears to default to two, so watch out for that. No late night shops in vicinity. Poor breakast,expencive for what offers,small hotel. the safe was broken and not fixed despite telling reception, the air con was too noisy to have on and try and sleep. v noisy traffic outside, breakfast coffee from a machine, only 1 robe per room. tv picture was fuzzy. mold around the bathtub & on the bathroomceiling out dated bathroom price too high. No safe working no options offered Room set up fir 1 - 1 towel, 1 dressing gown even though twin booked with 2 names. Car park was a 5 minute walk away (although we did know it wasn't in the hotel), restaurant menu was uninspiring so we ate out even though we arrived late in the evening. Rust stain on ceiling in room near bathroom. Information about the parking not clear while booking: they do actually have a garage. I had to do my work in the bath tub because that was the only place where where the promissed wifi was availably. Very poor experience! But I was offered to pay more to get a faster wifi ... shower - only hot water staff attitude.
