  The hotel has its own car park (included in price). The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very quiet at night, so we slept well.   the view from our balcony was stunning. the room though small was really neat and kept well for the guests. there is a restaurant in the hotel, and served good food too. outside hotels there are lots of shops and restaurants, if u just want to explore grindelwald this is a perfect place, and its a value for money too. the hotel is 5mins walking f... vad folk säger » rom the Grindelwald train station. but make sure u arrive before 11am at night or there is no more train from interlaken to Grindelwald. the taxi will - We loved the location, just across from the station and central to everything. As 2 couples, we had the adjoining rooms with shared bathroom between rooms. This worked very well as each bed room had its own hand basin. Included buffet b/fast was excellent offering a good variety including scrabbled eggs, bacon and lovely fresh bread. We also enjoyed the meals in the downstairs restaurant, where the staff were very friendly. Big bonus, it has an elevator.

  It is a great hotel with very efficient, friendly staff. The rooms are very well kept, the beds have crip linen, the bathrooms are spanking new. We really enjoyed every bit of our stay.   This is a lovely, family run hotel, typical of ski, hiking accommodation in this area. The Cabana is a not a large hotel and has a quiet atmosphere.The staff were very helpful and friendly, the South facing rooms have fabulous views of the Eiger and are clean, comfortable, with a spacious balcony. Very nice home-baked bread, fresh fruit ,cereals, yoghurt, meat and cheeses. Also offered a cooked breakfast. Driving up to their location high above Grindelwald is quite exciting by car, traversing the side of the mountain on a single lane, yes but what a feeling of jubilation upon arrival. The alpine views from the room was just amazing. This hotel is off the beaten track so dining options are limited to hotel restaurant which serves really good food. It is an ideal location if you are looking to just embrace the nature and hike in the mountains. Hotel wad renovated recently so Rooms are great and clean.

  We loved our room, clean, basic necessities, fantastic view. We had a mountain view, corner room with surrounding balcony. We could not have asked for better. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from town. If you arrive by train you can call the hotel and they will pick you up. We took the nearby bus to town when we could. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Super nice. The lady of the house speaks excellent english. Skibus just on the corner, otherwise just drive down 5 min to the big parking at the lift and pay 5 CHF for the whole day.

  Läget, tyst rum. - The original room was very nice however the room offered for the last night (which was requested after the booking) was not very nice and we checked out on that day instead of staying. The hotel was nice and didn't charge us.
