  The staff was very helpful and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. As dated as the decor was it was nice to have a spa bath and a sauna in the room.   Very professional, helpful staff. Enormous room with jacuzzi and a walk-in shower that doubles as a steam room. Very acceptable level of noise in my street-facing room. Good wifi in the public areas. - Really nice bedroom! Bath and shower are awesome!

  The staff were very professional, friendly and spoke excellent English - unlike staff at most hotels in Lapa and Glória. The breakfast service is fairly standard but good. The lay-out of the rooms is spacious for Rio, and the AC was nice an - rooms are clean, with daily room cleaning during your stay, shower hot and good pressure, bed and pillows comfortable, staff speak fluent english and are all very polite and helpful. The location is great, about 700m from metro, bus stops even closer, taxi's driving past front door at any time of day or night, very accessible, walkin distance to arches of lapa, and night life area. breakfast in the morning is delicious and a large variety.
