  Frankly, it was the best choise I have ever made. &Quot;House of Amstel" is very central in terms of location, you can find the place very easily just a few minutes of walking from Dam Sqaure, it is actually at the intersection of several busy streets such as Damrak and Amstel ; it's called Muntplein. Apart from excellent location the place is very comfortable, you have everything under your hand. You can - We were met at the apartments by Kai who explained everything for us and gave us some great tips on things to do whilst we were there. The apartments were very clean and comfortable and the location was excellent. It was located a few minutes from Dam Square, one of the main attractions in Amsterdam. There was a great view of the river Amstel from the apartment windows with all the boats passing by at regular intervals.

  We booked the Guest-Houseboat for our 12th anniversary because we wanted to stay somewhere special and it certainly exceeded our expectations! We've visited Amsterdam many times before, but we felt that staying here gave us a completely different perspective on this beautiful city. Paul was an excellent host. When we arri - I have never stayed in a houseboat before. I was not disappointed. It was a great apparment on the canal. Great view through the large windows. Excellent facilities. Very comfortable bed, good kichenette and excellent bathroom. Close to everything, shops, resaurants, but not noisy - just the right balance. I was on a business trip, but plan to go back in the Spring with my wife. Paul and Patricia were terrific in helping out and providing advice. Great service!

  I liked how welcome we were on arrival the hospitality was very good also the beers and wine provided. Nice touch - Paul is a great guy to work with and the house boat was one of the hi-lights of our trip.

  Iv stayed here three times now and usually have the en suite bedroom on top floor but this time we could not so stayed in the shared facilitied bedroom. this was ok for one night but if staying any longer time I would recommend the ensuite room. but however no problmes with the shared bathroom and our bedroom was clean and tidy and perfect for our... что говорят » one night stay, dave who works there is friendly and helpful. - It was very interesting to leave in a real hause in the centre of Amsterdam.The hosts were very nice and welcoming.   I loved the whole idea of staying on a ship. The location was great as well, just a 5-10 minute walk to the Central Station area. The rate included breakfast which was good, I just wish it started a little earlier because we wanted to get out of the city to head home as early as possible.   My husband and I recently stayed here (May 2013). We loved it. All of it. We would love to visit again. The homeowners are amazing, friendly and very accommodating. The cottage is located on miles and miles of cycling and running trails (my personal paradise). Then you can take a tram and in 10 mins you are at the Central Station. The cottage is tiny but has everything you need in a cool design. The surroundings are very nice with nature and canals. You can sit on the small terrace and enjoy the multitude of birds and the nice canal. The village next door is pretty and has one restaurant (no breakfast!). Everything is just perfect.

Since it is a docked boat it is also very quiet. Don't forget it is a boat cabin what you will get.
