Beautiful spacious twin room in a quiet Riad - perfect for 2 female
friends travelling together. Simple decour and most importantly very
clean and safe enough for 2 girls walking back late from the square.
The room is quiet except as its an atrium style terrace Riad you can hear people chatting in the central courtyard but that stops by midnight. The room Has 2 lovely open air windows and the bathroom is made out of a special unique stone/marble with excellent showering facilities.

Fantastic place to stay. Very helpful staff that sit down with you when you arrive to try and help you get used to navigating the streets. Very clean, great breakfast, quiet place to retreat to after the busy streets and souks. Close walk to Jemaa El Fna and shopping. Initially finding the Riad can be challenging, but if you ask your taxi driver to take you to Ben Youssef, you should have no trouble finding it. Fabien, Samir (sorry if I spelled you name incorrectly) thank you for a very memorab.
We stayed only one night at riad Ghemza but we wished we would have stayed longer. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast are the best with fresh fruit and homemade yoghurt. It's located in the middle of the medina, very close to the museums and historical places. Very clean bedroom and nice and warm shower. They also have a very nice terrace where you can relax from the agitated life in the medina. The one tip we can give you is that it's very hard to find the riad by yourself so ask for someon.
In day light the Riad is pretty easy to find as the sign of the alley (Derb) is pretty good in sight.
When you enter the Riad, it is a great welcome. Very tidy and a warm welcome by its personnel (you will always receive a cup of tea).
The rooms are not too big but very clean and with all the necessary comforts.
At the rooftop, there is a big sun terras with a small dipping pool.
Last but not least, when you enter you leave all the noise of the big city directly behind you.
The staff is lovely, responsive, and attentive. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. They will serve your breakfast at any time that's convenient for you. My first night was coughing because my room had mold or something. The room was very clean' so it must be hidden in a drain. They changed my room next day and all was well.
Well were do I start the place is Amazing. Couldn't have asked for
better staff also they were so helpful and brilliant also met Fabian the
owner he was very knowledgeable. Do yourself a favor and stay here the
breakfast are Amazing and the tea you receive on arrival was one the the
best teas I had in morocco
Stay here!.
We stayed for one night and enjoyed everything about our stay. Lovely room, good breakfast and helpful staff. The location is central and close to the medina.
This was our first visit to Marrakech and I would definitely recommend this riad to anyone planning a trip as it was a great start to our holiday!!.
Bed and bedroom comfort were superb and the roof and sun lounge area and small jacuzzi/pool just perfect for sunbathing and relaxing after the nearby souks and sights. Fabien and Samir were friendly and helpful hosts and the Riad is lovely. Recommended.
Really nice Riad and the owner is really nice guy that want to explain everything you wanne know about Marrakesh. He gives good tips and where and how to go. The riad it self is very beautifull and clean.
This was the nicest riad we have ever stayed in with large rooms, so much light and very good breakfasts. The hosts provided fantastic advice and directions for whatever you wanted to do.
The service of this Riad is amazing! The staff is kind and super helpful. Our stay in Marrakesh was great thanks to them! I highly recommend this Riad.
Excellent staff and service.
Excellent tasteful authentic decor.
Peaceful.
Rooftop terrace with plunge pool.
Value for money.
Professional.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was great, and the riad itself was clean, comfortable and picturesque. A great stay!.
Very hospitable host, lots of good info upon arrival, nice breakfast,
beautiful room, in one word: perfect!.
The people who work in the riad were brilliant and they were so helpful. The area is perfect and so calm.
Nothing really - though I would say there is a farm like odour only in
the toilet which could be due to the sewage system. Maybe bring some
toiletries to spray in the toilet or buy some oils/incense from
souks nearby to drown the smell as its quite strong. The towels are a
bit flimsy too and need updating. Apart from that an easy 9.5 from
us!! Super :).
The Riad is good to find at daylight, however at night the neighbourhood of the Riad is pretty hard to figure out and to find your way to restaurants and the city center (place Jamaa El Fna).
It is really a lot further to the main square than they advertise...more like 25-35 minutes if you don't get lost on the way. I really do not like false statements in adverts, and I chose this place because of the supposed location. Perhaps if you are a local, it would take less time, because you'd know short cuts, but no traveller will be able to be that fast.
Finding it on arrival at night was 'interesting' first haggling down the extortionate rates initially quoted by less than friendly taxi drivers then actually finding the alleyway at night. Other than a sign at the end of the alley or in other locations and perhaps better directions/map this is not a complaint about the hotel, it is just Morocco, and the Medina and it is wht we came.
It's a bit hard to find, but for a tourist everything in Marrakesh is hard to find. So i don't consider this as a downside of the Riad.
Breakfast was beautifully served but needs more variety.
There is honestly nothing I didn't like, wish I could have stayed longer.
