  Amazing friendly staff, great facilities and air conditioning. Regularly cleaned. The staff are very knowledgable and helpful, they will be able to tell you anything about Rio. This is not a typical "party" hostel as there are people of all different ages and walks of life. Having said that, the bar is great and the caipirinhas are authentic!   Even before we left the UK our host Isobel was most welcoming arranging pick up at the airport. We woke up the next morning to the most amazing view and fantastic breakfast on the veranda. There is no better view anywhere in Santa Theresa. The building is 60's art deco with a great conservatory with views for when it gets cooler.   We spent three nights at the R&C Santa Teresa and were very happy with our choice for romantic vacation. The room was very nice and very clean. The design of hotel is awesome. The staff is very friendly and this is valid for everybody (security, front desk, waiters, room service etc). The area itself is interesting and from what I gather has some cool drinking holes and restaurants. One could start and finish a book in peace here, yet 'feel Brazilian', and not feel they need to join the flock of tourists seeing the usuals in Rio. I enjoyed spending time at the bar, restaurant and spa - perfect for a day of indulgence!

  Principalmente a localização e preços. A casa na qual o hostel está localizado também é interessante. Não gosto muito de quartos coletivos, mas neste hostel há cortinas blackout individuais para cada cama e também uma lâmpada individual. Uma boa maneira de se obter privacidade num quarto para pessoas desconhecidas. É um lugar novo e tudo está bem ... o que as pessoas dizem » cuidado e organizado. Me hospedaria novamente e recomendo. - Atendimento muito bom. Quarto limpo. Pegamos uma suite com uma cama de casal e uma beliche. Ficamos eu minha esposa e meus sogros. Gostamos muito deste hostel excelente custo beneficio. O hostel é relativamente novo qdo fomos em 3/nov/13 a roupa de cama era nova e os colchões tb. I felt lucky to have come across this lovely family residence before they become to popular. I felt a welcome guest of the family rather than a customer. Leo & Leila went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant and accommodating as possible. I very much look forward to coming back hear in the futcher.
