The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to help you where possible. The onsen was a highlight and great way to end the day after a big day snowboarding. You feel like you get an authentic Japanese experience staying at the hotel as there are hardly any westerners staying there. Near Habuka Eki, scene of snow-capped mountains and post-card like Hakuba village, excellent hot-spring spa, free shuttle to Hakuba Eki and Ski Areas.
