A quiet and beautiful place with only 8 rooms, but they are big (almost 10 persons could take a shower together) and with a gorgeus view on the Guanabara Bay and the bridge Rio-Niteroi, with Suger Loaf and Down Town, Rio, in the horizon. The staff are very friendly and did everything to enjoy over stay, excellent service and kindness. And they compensate their "little speaking"-English with kindness and Google translator.....Clean room and hotell, and only 10 minutes with taxi to the Internatio.
wszystkie opinie » We appreciate the pousada a lot! The staff is very friendly, careful, and super-clean! The ambiance is comfortable and beautiful, we feel immediately good in the place. Wonderful breakfast with a beautiful view on the Guanabara bay. I stayed there with my husband and my baby just for one night (unfortunately) after a long flight arriving in gig. If you look for a bed near the airport this is a good option, because there are not too many hotels around. You can take the yellow cab to reach the po. Nice rooms. Nice bed. They couldn't speak English but made effort by having conversations with us using google translate. Restaurant closed before we got there at 8pm but they helped us order a delivery as we were in the middle of nowhere. Taxi driver couldn't find it from airport quickly. Maybe print a google maps of it before you come. Lots of traffic to airport. Maybe a 25 min drive. Gym sauna etc was closed when we arrived. Also breakfast started at 7.30 after we left. Close to the airport and friendly staff even though you need some basic portuguese. Wifi works well from the breakfast room wich has a nice view over Pão de Açúcar. Useful for airport and great views of apRio. The staff is friendly but doesn't speak much English. it is near to the airport GIG. I think they will learn little more English to my next stay because they were so positive and want to do everything for the guests!!! And the new SPA-section will also be ready to my next stay! So nothing negative is to be said about this place.... We had cold water in the shower, but we spent just one short night and had no time to complaint. Otherwise, I am sure the staff would do something. Ok for airport not much else in area. It's fairly near to GIG and it costs about R$28 from the airport. As I only stayed overnight to catch the early plane the next morning, haven't got the chance to walk around. The area is OK, not very convenient and no shops nearby. Not very good value for money. It is very difficult to find even for taxi drivers. There is not ay to have dinner. Brekfast is 7.30 which is unpleasant fo an airport serving pousada. It is not a pousada but a house turned into a pousada.
