Cosa dice la gente
The warm welcome we received from Wendy at the reception desk was just
the beginning of our very nice stay in Amsterdam at the Nesplein V. The
rooms are large and decorated in interesting modern/steampunk way
that sets this hotel apart from the bland chain hotels. The wallpaper in
the elevator kept us chuckling, too! The location was central to
everything we wanted to see in the city and public transportation is
just a block away. Being one street back from the Main Street was a big
plus, as th. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Great design. Rooms big enough with very nice dark decoration I loved the black bathroom.
Polite helpful friendly staff at front desk and the lobby rest bar. They answer any question and always work with a smile on the face :)
Excellent location walking distance from central station dam spiru museum district. We love walking around the city and never needed to use public transport.
Best hotel food ever! The lobby serves great food and I liked the idea of alacarte no buffet breakfast . Great co.
We recently stayed at Hotel V in a double room on level 2. We were thoroughly impressed, the room size is generous as is the bathroom. We dined at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner; it was consistently nice. A bonus is that they serve breakfast until 3pm for the late riser. The placed is tastefully decorated and on trend. Staff at reception and the restaurant are cheerful and helpful. Location wise, it is a stone's throw from dam square and a short stroll to the famous red light district .
First I was disappointed as highlighted in my reservation that need a very quiet room but I got one on the second floor overlooking to a square with full of restaurant tables and it was very noise. Then I talked to the Reception and she said that the Hotel is “fully booked” but (I was a bit pushy) finally I got a very nice big and quiet room looking to Nes Street. (Never believe the “fully booked” answer!) All of the staff is very helpful and friendly. The Hotel is clean and the location is gre.
The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us throughout the stay. We have stayed in many luxury hotels but none as beautifully designed as Hotel V. The room was spacious, very clean, VERY comfortable, and for being so central, we heard no noise. Room service was prompt and not too expensive (and I'm a tight fisted Scotsman!) and the person on the phone even recommended refreshments for us! Altogether a fantastic stay in a fantastic hotel, which I would recommend to an.
I definitely recommend this hotel.
Location is great, the hotel is right in the center, few meters away from dam and in a quiet location so that the city noise does not disturb you.
Hotel design is very beautiful, providing very chilled atmosphere. The restaurant in the lobby is very nice, I usually do not use hotel restaurants, but this one was really good and it has tables outside as well, where is a nice little square with other cafes and restaurants.
Hotel staff are very friendly as well.
Hotel V Nes is a very nice new design hotel located near the Dam. The hotel is right in the middle of everything yet super quiet due to its location. The room, which was a suite, was very big, clean and super stylish and was well worth its price. In my opinion the rates for the hotel is awesome. I can only recommend Hotel V!
The staff is very friendly and efficient. The restaurant and bar are great too! All in all Hotel V Nes is a great place to stay!.
This recently opened, family owned, hotel, exceeded our expectations.
The location is in the middle of Amsterdam's shopping, red light
district and canals. The hotel employs a hip, upscale, quirky (Steam
Punk) design throughout. The staff is wonderful; from the desk help,
waiters/waitresses, cleaning crew to management. Our room was large,
particularly compared to European standards, and was very comfortable.
We highly recommend this wonderful hotel.
Our 4 night stay at Hotel V was a great Amsterdam experience.
Rooms were very well finished wih exceptionally comfortable and large bed.
All staff are focused on delivering excellent service to guests. Front desk staff provided directions and advice for getting around the city plus fantastic dining recomendations (and made bookings).
Excellent meals in the Lobby Restaurant. A la carte breakfast is a great option.
loved the spaciousness of the room & also its design. The bed was extraordinarily wide and the fact there were 2 separate duck down duvets on it provided great comfort without the tug of the duvet in the nighttime! The staff were extremely friendly whilst maintaining a necessary professionalism.
We loved the design and décor of the hotel which was really beautiful.
The hotel design is very unique, trendy and modern. The room was well layed out and I loved the black bathroom....really cool. The bed was large and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and professional at both the front desk and the bar/restuarant. This was the last hotel we stayed in during our travels and it definately was a great way to finish our holiday.
Wonderful room (we stayed at V suite) large and comfortable. Good service and friendly staff. Central location in a quit street with a small square on the side of the hotel that houses a café other than the hotel restaurant, both of which has outdoor seating. Less than 5 min walk to Dam square and 12 min walk to Central Station. Red district is also 5 min walk.
This is amazing little gem of a hotel. Ideally located on a quiet street next to Dam Square, beautifully designed, very cozy. The personnel is perfectly friendly and helpful.
There is no your usual buffet. A restaurant downstairs offers a la carte, probably overly sophisticated for breakfast, but very tasty and reasonably priced.
1) the staffs are very nice. they showed us the route to meseum in good details and answered us many questions with good patience. 2) the breakfast is excellent, especially the coffee. 3) the whole building and the room are so delicate-designed, full of art and history. 4) very convenient location, walking distance to everywhere.
Staff are very friendly and helpfull. Location is fantastic and within easy walking distance of areas of interest.
Our room was basic but had all you need as you do not go to Amsterdam to sit in your room and the beds were very comfortable. Taxi's from the airport vary in price but anything from 50 to 80 Euros was the going rate.
*Amazing location: 2 min walk from the red light district, Madam madame tussauds museum, lovely area that does not sleep.
*An amazing Modern Classic amazing design.
*Great service. The staff were very helpful, although the hotel is very new
*Very clean, luxurious and comfortable.
*i think it should be rated as a 5 stars hotel.
Everything was pleasant!.
An ideal location but on a quiet street, great value, excellent breakfast, wonderful staff, comfortable and spacious room - this is really a number one choice for Amsterdam. It has a slightly industrial decor and the staff are relaxed and not stuffed shirts, I'd say 5 star luxury without the extra fuss.
Hotel V Nesplein is exquisite! The décor is wonderful, with a relaxing ambience both in the room and in the restaurant. Staff are wonderful, helpful, and engaging. We loved our stay...it was the best hotel we stayed in during our 3 weeks in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands!.
Everything was great. Location is perfect for city trip. The hotel is situated in the very heart of the city but, at the same time, on the quiet street. Nice, comfortable and rather big rooms. Cuisine in the hotel's restaurant is really delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Have never stayed in a hotel before where every single member of staff was so helpfull.
Room was a good size. Very comfortable bed.
Restaurant food is excellent (although not cheap).
Ideal location, central, but down a side street so very quiet.
Excellent sepperate shower.
The room was spacious and comfortable room.Very clean. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. When you arrive by car, make use of the valet parking. Less expensive and especially with bad weather more comfortable than parking in the parking garages in the city centre.
Perfect location, very close to Dam Square. We went to all sights on foot, even to Museumplein, Vondelpark and Albert Cuyp Markt. Welcoming staff, especially Sophie at the front desk. Free water, tea and coffee in the room. Stylish light bulbs and bathroom.
Perfect location at the centre of the City. Lovely, friendly, very helpful and efficient staff. incredibly comfortable beds. Stylish and very functional shower room. Cosy lounge/library corner with log stove and hot chocolate on call from the Lobby bar.
We loved everything From the moment we walked in the front door we were treated like royalty. It was an AMAZING experience in a new hotel within walking distance of everything that is a must see in Amsterdam. Thank you to Jan and his fantastic staff.
Everything was excellent. The personnel was friendly and helpful. All of the hotel is purely clean. The location was at the center of the city and we walked everywhere, never get on to railway. The room was enough and big. Thanks for everything.
Very hip, stylish hotel in the middle of everything (DAM square, train station, shopping, red light) yet on a quiet side street. Wonderful restaurant The Lobby at the hotel and several on the street. Very helpful staff and spacious rooms.
Decor very modern and appealing. Spotless. Food EXCELLENT.Breakfast a
surprise (The Full Amsterdam it was called) and totally delicious. Meat
cooked to perfection in the evening. Candles always burning. Would
recommend without hesitation.
everything was perfect. the location in the 0 km(everything in walking distance and also quite as it was in an alley with almost no car use). super design, excellent receptionists, top restaurant. when back V nesplein will be my choice.
perfect location for Dam square, very comfortable bedroom spacious refreshing with luxury bathroom.our main reason for visiting Amsterdam was to visit Rijksmuseum. hotel staff were most helpful with directions and transport advice.
Very nice hotel with a beautiful design. Good location in a quiet neighborhood. Good size of the room and bathroom. Staff was great and gave us excellent information about restaurants, shopping areas and what to do in amsterdam.
I absolutely loved this hotel--the design is so cool, and all the staff were incredibly friendly. Even on day 2 of operation, things were up and running without any issues. Great location in the central city, too!.
a gorgeous boutique hotel, spacious rooms with comfy beds, great location, easy walk to shops and tram/trains. The staff were so helpful and we recommend trying the pizza in the lobby restaurant, its amazing.
Very friendly staff, the hotel is new the room was big enough and the
bathroom was very clean . the best of all was the restaurant it was so
good that I decided to return there and have my lunch dring the day.
Excellent customer service, awesome location, fabulously kept hotel, very clean & comfortable. Bed s comfy it almost felt like we were home. We would highly recommend and definitely come back here again.
Best Location, Best Place in amsterdam city. Best staff. Dam Square and
Bijenkorf only 3 minutes walks, Kalverstraat shopping center 2 minutes
walking distances, and others city attractions are very closed.
Excellent location, quiet and friendly.Polite and helpful staff, interesting restaurant , reasonable priced menu.
Contemporary design with ultra modern fixtures, and somewhat extravagant decor. Liked it.
Excellent free internet reception in the whole building, excellent quality of beds, shower and bath, delicious food in restaurant and silence in the hotel room, despite being in the center of Amsterdam.
I loved the location of the hotel - walking distance to everywhere that we were interested in visiting. I also liked the atmosphere and decor. There is a charming restaurant and bar on the main floor.
The staff were excellent. The chef in the restaurant was terrific and he prepared a five course meal that was the best of our holiday. The restaurant staff (Ard and Trigas) were charming and helpful.
The best from the best about this hotel is its location..
It's just in the center, just 2 minutes to walk till Dam Square.. Very nice..
The design is spectacular , the beds are very comfortable..
It is in a very good location to shop and eat. The hotel room is very comfortable. It is the best compared to other hotel that I stayed so far in for my Europe trip. The staffs are very friendly.
The friendliest staff I have ever encountered in a hotel anywhere in the world, the rooms were very comfortable, the location excellent, the facilities brilliant and the food was very nice.
The hotel has a cosy and modern design with a good restaurant. Boutique
feeling. The location is very central, 10 minutes walking from Central
Station and 2 minutes from the Royal Palace.
this is a new hotel just opened a month ago and i had a chance to stay in it
the location is excellent near everything plus free internet
it was clean the shower is extreme good.
Great staff. Brand new hotel in an excellent location. Quiet, despite being near everything. Fabulous restaurant and bar in the lobby. Really nice shower. WIFI was easy and fast.
It was a funky hotel in the centre of Amsterdam. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was fun and enjoyable. The location was great for exploring Amsterdam on foot.
Simple stylish accomodation in a quiet location very close to Dam square. High point is the restaurant - superb food and limited but great wine list... Not to be missed!.
Hotel was absolutely beautiful. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were a little luxury after 3 weeks of travelling!.
I loved the style and culture of the hotel. The pictures on the walls of
the hallway and the wallpaper in the rooms was awesome. The location was
absolutely perfect.
Can't think of a single negative. We will recommend this hotel to
all friends and family planning a trip to Amsterdam.
Nothing We really truely enjoyed our stay;).
Maybe two slight problems: there is no hanger in the bathroom so no space to put your towels or other belongings and the second problem is that the building is very cold because of the central A/C. But we got a heater so it was OK.
Only thing that could have been done better at Hotel V Nes is the lighting in the bathroom over the mirror. It's a common problem of hotels that lighting isn't good for putting on make up.
I really can't think of anything I didn't like.
Would have liked to have a fridge in the room. The bathroom's shower area was not reachable from a wheelchair point of view and we had asked for a wheelchair accessible room upon booking. I coped with the difficulty with help from my husband but would obviously rather have been independent which was what I was expecting having made such a request.
Everything about this hotel was great.
Nothing, we had wonderful time.
No parking garage. Have to walk long distance to closest garage. No temporary parking place outside hotel for luggage loading.
*No complementary coffee machine in the room.
*I asked for flip flops, but they did not have as the hotel was new.
*very limited menu items during night.
*The elevator smell was bad, maybe due to the new wall papers.
It is impossible to adjust the room conditioner. At first night was a little bit cool to sleep. But I solved the problem - I closed manually deflectors. But it is necessary to have technical brains).
I couldn't fault it, maybe if you're looking for a panoramic view you'd be disappointed.
Just a slight suggestion: our room had a step up to the sofas and clothing racks. Because the floor is the same color on both levels, it is hard to see you need to step down. Perhaps a type of molding or decorative stripping to show there is a step down; both us almost fell because we forgot there was a step!.
Lack of breakfast buffet option Only a la carte.
Electric sockets could be better placed. No side shelf by bathroom sink.
Just a small thing: The office building across the street is very near to the hotel, since the street is very narrow. You may want to use the drapes, especially during office hours.
Didn't quite get/understand the menu in the Lobby Restaurant. Tried breakfast but didn't eat there again. Didn't seem to cater for vegetarians which was at odds with our experience elsewhere is Amsterdam.
Nothing.
The decor is wonderfully minimal but could have used a slightly larger dresser or table to organize clothing and other items.
Would have missed a lounge to sit in before/after dinner had we been
there longer or wanted soft seats to sit on. There is a lovely corner in
the dining area with two sofas near a log burning fire, but once these
seats are taken there is no-where else due to nature of building. As it
happens it did not bother us but we might have stayed for coffee on a
soft seat had one been vacant.
the cleaning service could be less discreet. excellent hotel, congratulations.
No air conditioning.
Despite having a beautiful bar, there's no cocktail menu, and staff haven't been trained in making classic drinks.
The room was a little bit to warm even if I left the windows open .
Nothing negative to contribute.
Next time I will ask for a room with two or three windows. In November it is very dark in Amsterdam and staying one week in the same room becomes a bit depressing when the scarce light can only come in through one window.
A very noisy party in the restaurant one night disturbed my sleep.
The rooms do not have mini bars.
For the 3 days that we have stayed they didn't put us new shower gel and shampoo daily, we had the same of them from the first day that we came in..and we were 3 in the rooms..
it's not ok for an 4 star hotel..
And they should mandatory have room slippers !!!.
The rooms do not have a fridge nor can you adjust the temperature in
the room. No individual airco adjustment possible. It would be an idea
to give a complementary water botlle and/or coffee/tea facility
in the room.
there was a mix up with the booking so they wanted to put us in any room because another guest is in our room and they did not want to change any rooms everything is schedualled already they did not want to upgrade us unless we pay more >>we fought a little bit then we got our room
some staff are unfriendly.
We were unable to get right to the hotel with our shuttle from the airport and had to walk (a short) distance with suitcases after being dropped and again even further to be picked up.
No faults it was a fantastic stay!.
