The location of the hostel is perfect for night-clubs, sight-seeing and shopping-lovers, all the staff is very friendly, and the conditions are not bad for a hostel, even if you have to share room with 11 other people. The best thing that the hostel is close to the Dam and the center of the city, so you can feel the atmosphere of Amsterdam there.
I loved the Hostel, what a great location, couldn t choose better.All the staff very friendly. I shared the room with another 11 people but all very polite and friendly, so managed to sleep properly. great location,friendly and helpfull staff.I shared the room with another 8 people but we don*t have any problems.The beds are comfortable,the room was worm enough the toilet and shower cabin was absoluteliy clean!.
The location is perfect I didn't need to take the tram anywhere since the major attractions were less than a 15 min walk. Right where the night life is at. The staff was great and I would stay here again.
The location is perfect. Nearby Leidesplein which has the most attraction of Amsterdam.

The location is excellent.
As a 68 year old "young person" it was right in the heart of the "happening" part of the city so, I liked the location although because I was carrying two large travel bags, it was a little hard to get to the front door plus, construction had the sidewalks dug up!! Generally, everybody (staff & guests) was
very nice !!.
The hostel complies with what you would expect from a budget hostel... Simple but clean bed, toilet not so clean but with 8 guests in a dorm ...it was decently ok, simple breakfast which though fine to start your morning, Location is pretty good. Staff were super helpful and friendly (thanks balazs!).
The staff was very kind and helped me to found the tourist place,
directions, etc. The localite is very interesting, in special, if you
are searching a night attractions and pubs/coffes shops.
The very central part of the city. It takes 10-15 minutes to get to the all most famous attractions.
The price is cheap.

It could be enough for a backpacker with the least expectations. Wifi is free and possible to connect from rooms. It is realy at the center of Amsterdam that you can walk to the parks, museums or red-light district.

Although I loved the location, it was VERY hard to get to via public trans if you were carrying luggage and, the city was EXTREMELY CROWDED that weekend and the sidewalks were torn up due to construction and, it was cold, windy, and raining so it was the worst of all possible times at that location !! I didn't like NOT being able to pay with credit card !!.
Quite noisy on the street, next time will bring my ear plugs, that is what you need to be willing to deal with ...because of located in middle of bars, restaurants.
I think the bathroom can be cleaned more times, because, sometimes, you
can found a messy person.
And, If you have problems to sleep, dont choose the shared room with a lot of persons or prepare for this. It's not a hostel problem, but with the person that you can found.
They don't supply towels.
The condition of the hostel is quite bad. But I would say that almost all hostels in Amsterdam like that.

The building of the hostel is old, a friend of us told that he saw a mouse. Cleaning is not really good but we have managed to get a shower. Breakfast is bread, jam and peanut butter. Nothing more. There is no TV in rooms however, who needs TV in amsterdam ?.

No lockers, no soap at the basin, you always have to ring the bell and wait to come in, no ladders to the bunk beds, steep and narrow stairs, dirty laundry waits at the landings of the stairs with almost nowhere to walk.
Noisy street, can't close windows, night club is neighbour, dirty bathroom, big hole with mold on ceiling in bathroom and when someone get shower upstair a dirty drop of water fall on you if you are on toilet...

Old & grubby looking. Ciould easily brighten up the place by painting the scuffed walls every now & again. Bathroom smelled pretty bad of sewage.
Inadequate breakfast. Way, way overpriced for a dorm bed. (Eur 58
for a night)!.
There is a 3cm treshold in bathroom and all water is flowing to the toilet side and mixes with all mess there.This hotel is NOT for famililies. There are a lot of discos and was very noisy. .
The rooms were crowded. They smelled very damp and a window had to be open all day for it to clear out. Mind you it was FREEZING, so when you got back to your room you were freezing your toes off. Staff was a hit or miss. High narrow stairs with no elevator. Shower and bathroom were pretty gross, and completely wet. BRING FLIPFLOPS.
It smelled awful. The shower and bathroom was practically unbearable, it was dim and scary.
The worst hostel i have ever been!!. The owner was very disrespectful. Very small and dirty spaces. A dreadful noise all night long.I dont recommend it at all!!!.
