Local dishes and specialities can be served at the riad and a continental breakfast can be enjoyed daily on the terrace, in the dining room or on the patio. Massage treatments are available and the riad can organise excursions, cookery classes and car rental upon request. Airport transfers for Marrakech-Menara Airport can also be arranged upon demand and Marrakech Train Station is 3.6 km away. This riad is a little gem. It has only been open for 2.5 years and everything inside is brand new and of amazing taste. Laurence is a wonderful hostess. She does it with the heart and as a guest, you will feel incredibly looked after. She works so hard in the riad, taking care of every little detail. Our room was very nice (Moulay Ahmed on the first floor) and offered privacy. The riad also has a great terrace and a brand new glass roof which makes it probably the only riad in Marrakech to have.
kaikki arvostelut » Beautiful riad in the heart of the city. Well positioned to access all the main sites. We stayed in Moulay which was perfectly designed in a moroccon style with a big bathroom. The breakfast was amazing and served up on the roof top terrace. I would strongly recommend ordering dinner at the hotel - you have to order in the morning and it isn't cheap but it is delicious. very romantic too as more often than not you'll be the only couple in the dining area. In summary, I would recommend this ria. From the moment you enter the rhiad Laurence, the hostess, can not do enough for you - organising taxis, explaining where places are, recommending restaurants and ensuring your holiday is going well. The rhiad was perfect for exploring the old city being close to the temples and main square. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meals were intimate and well presented. The rooms had every attention to Morrocan detail and were spotless.There were comfortable, quiet corners in the rhiad and . This small, intimate riad totally met our expectations. The design/decor was charming...Moroccan flavor with French attention to detail; Alain and Laurence, the innkeepers were lovely and helpful and the staff were wonderful! Latifah, the cook, even let me watch her in the kitchen while she cooked and Khadija, another staff member wrote down recipes for me. Big highlight of our time in Marrakech! Said was always there, ready to help and answer any questions which might come up. The location was. As soon as I arrived Laurence, Said and Alain were there to personally welcome me. Laurence spoke excellent English which I was so grateful for (I'm ashamed to say English is all I can speak!). I was also grateful for all of the advice and help regarding tours and shopping. The attention to detail at the riad was superb, right down to fresh flowers in the room during my entire stay and welcoming cups of Moroccan tea offered every day on my return from outings. Highly recommended. I wish there was a rating higher than 'excellent'!! From the first moment that we were greeted at the Riad, I felt so warmly welcomed. The staff is wonderful and attentive, and the rooms are extraordinary. The riad has a great location for walking all over Marrakesh, and is also an oasis of peace an quiet in a busy city. Thank you Laurence, Said, Alain and all of the staff - you provided a wonderful home away from home!. I can't recommend the Riad Charme d'Orient highly enough. It is an oasis of calm and relaxation - a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. The beautiful decor, attentive and friendly staff, formidable breakfasts, and the warm welcome and help we received from Laurence and her husband all contributed to a very enjoyable stay. Location is good, too. Laurence, Alain and Said will welcome you with open arms and set the tone with wonderful customer service right from the moment you step out of the cab. I think it is truly wonderful, the rooms, the food, the staff and especially their owners. Definitely recommended. A pleasure and hope to return soon, Cristina and Adrian. A charming little hotel, with very friendly and helpfull stuff. Very clean! The location is perfect, very close to the El Fna Place, but in a small side street so its quiet. We enjoyed our visit and would recommend it. The owners were extremely helpful , warm and welcoming. Useful suggestions were plentiful. Over the top assistance with help on retrieving lost luggage from airport. They made you feel like a guest in their own home. Laurence was an amazing host and made us both feel very welcome as well as giving some great advice about things to do. It was a very calming atmosphere in the Riad and a nice escape from the outside noise. We found everything was wonderful. The Riad is a bit hidden in a small street, but when the door opens you feel like beeing in another world of luxury and comfort. Beautiful accommodation. nothing. Definitely book airport transfer - you'll struggle to find the place otherwise!. There was nothing we didn't like. Nothing we didnt like!. Nothing to dislike. There is not one bad thing to say about this Riad, simply amazing!. Only thing was that the pool was too cold to dip in to. Liked everything. Unfortunately there were no possibility to eat dinner at the riad although it said that you could do so! That was a shame since the location of the riad is a bit away from the nice restaurants! We stayed 3 nights and found it a struggle to find good restaurants in the neighbourhood. To short stay - only 2 days. Nothing. Bathroom a bit spartan. Nothing!. A fridge would have been good. nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Stay was too short. Bathtub didn't drain very well. Lack of space for storing clothes in the room.
