Hotel Park Bergen's rooms are comfortable, though the bathrooms are
small and really only accommodate one person at a time. However, they
offer a very nice full Norwegian breakfast for the cost of the room,
which isn't always provided at all Norwegian hotels, and coffee, tea
and snacks are offered 24/7 in the breakfast room, which is very
nice for travelers.

The hotel's location is quite central, so provides easy access to Bergen's restaurants, shops, and museums. It's all within a 5-10 minute walk.
The breakfast was excellent -- one of the best I've had in a long time.
The midday check-out time is a nice addition. Too often nowadays the check-out time is 10am.
Free biscuits and coffee/tea/hot chocolate from the vending machine in the lounge.
The lounge/breakfast room were beautiful.

The hotel exudes old-world charm: nice wood wainscotting, lovely wood floors, and Oriental rugs. A large first floor room stays open all day with complimentary coffee, tea, and fruit and a limited menu. Breakfast is fabulous. Whimsical light fixtures in the rooms add a nice touch. Great breakfast with a very good range of options. Helpful and pleasant staff. We had an internal room & although there was no natural light, it was silent so we slept brilliantly. It was a good size and had everything you would expect. The location is great: very central and it is easy to walk to all the attractions of the city.
