We booked to stay here for 1 night on the way through St Thomas to the bvi. We arrived about 9pm at night very tired from a long journey and the lovely warm welcome from Reception was greatly appreciated. We ate straight away in the bar over looking the harbour - again the staff couldn't be friendlier and the food great - room was excellent - very spacious and clean. Joe the taxi driver took us to the fast Road Town Ferry in the morning and he was lovely too. Great location for getting the fast.

Room was lovely and clean and spacious. We ate in The Room With a View restaurant which was lovely - food and service excellent. We walked to town in the morning for a brief shopping experience before heading to the airport - hotel very good at checking us out promptly and keeping hold of our luggage whilst we shopped. Great location, friendly staff . Nice hotel with a really good view. All the rooms are big and clean. The location is perfect...better if you have a car or a scooter,you need it in the island. You can also walk to the bars and the restaurants but will be a little bit hard when you came back. The staff had a friendly attitude. They were awesome to me from beginning to end. The view was amazing. The on sight restaurant room with a view was awesome especially happy hour. Elevated beautiful location. Lovely gardens and outside space. Room With A View restaurant has an excellent menu choice, great food and friendly staff. The employees was well manners...the location the environment was lovely. The views are amazing and restaurants are very good. The wifi must be free. The timiliness of very few staff people on getting necessities but you are in the Caribbean. The location made taxis necessary. Cabs prices are not reliable and cab drivers are shady. They only want to take you certain places. Some of the appliances were outdated and they need to invest into buying new towels. The old ones have had it. One of the restaurants was pricey and the value of the food lacked for the price. It was not room with a view. That was awesome. Beautifly pool to look at! Very deep swimming pool,10 feet next to walk way and childrens pool, no grab rails. 4 feet by waterfall steps, but drops instantly to close to 5 feet. Need removable shade parasols for sunloungers as the 8 sunbeds under the shade awning were reserved by time share residents. The main hostess at BTG was overwhelmed and shared it with customers. Roosters.... My reservation with letsbookhotel.com couldn't be found. It took the night attendant an extraordinarily long time to figure out what to do with us. Stairs & hills may not be suitable for older people. Grumpy, unhelpful check-in man who doubled as a night audit clerk . Rooms are dated and bathrooms quite old and dirty.
