The bungalow was very nice and the pool and outdoor area was kind of a tropical garden. The breakfast was very good, a big choice of almost everything (coffee, tea, fresh fruits, bacon, soup, pancake, sausages). The restaurant is also very nice. The staff is very friendly and is willing to help you in any cases. The hotel beach is also very nice and there are sun chairs and beach towels for free. The mother hotel is on the other side of the street and you have to go there to come to the beach (.
all reviews » Everything was just so perfect, from the gardens, the pool, the design to the bungalows we stayed in, the staff just could'nt do enough for us from arranging transport to hiring a motorbike. We have stayed in some expensive hotels over the years and have never come accross a place so tranquill and well run, we booked for 3 nights and extended for a further 2 nights as it was so nice (the hotel only charged us $33 per night to extend our stay) even the breakfast was well prepared and quite exten. We brought some red wine and wanted to try it with some sausissons by the swimming pool. It was 10 PM and we went to the kitchen to borrow some glasses. The guy asked us what kind of wine it was (red or white) so that he could pick the right type of glasses. Then he used some cloths to double-clean those glass until he could see no trace under the light. The he wish us to have a nice drink... That was only one of the impressions that we had during our stay. Everyone were also very happy that w. Quietly located, small resort, yet ideally located between airport and Duong Dong village. The resort is set in a lush garden area, away from the main road, which gives it a nice, quiet atmosphere. Huge nice pool, decent breakfast buffet, pool table, bikes for rent and so on. Really enjoyed my stay here, would go again. Clean and comfortable rooms, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Hotel personnel helped us book taxi's (and helped us get a better rate than the driver offered), helped us rent two scooters (we strongly recommend doing this, by the way), and offers diving & snorkeling trips. Quiet, very calm, but still close to the beach, which is shared with this hotel's fancier brother Famiana Resort. Everything important is in 5 mins walk distance: taxi stand, couple of convenience stores, bike/motorbike rental. Really good and cheap restaurant in the hotel. The resort is small but we were able to use the facilities at the sister resort, Famiana Resort, across the road. The staff was friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was good with a variety of western and Asian fare. The staff were fantastic. They would do everything from hiring motorbikes to patching me up after falling off a motorbike. Excellent service all the way through. Fantastic rooms, comfortable beds and always very clean. A great place to stay and the fish viewing through the floor of our room was a hit with our 2yo. Staff were really friendly and spoke very good english. Great pool. Use of private beach was lovely. The resort is one big, beautiful garden with lovely trees, plants and flowers. The staff is nice and helpful. It is set in nature with big butterflies and gekkos we loved that. There is a big pool and all the area is quite. Rooms are simple but nice and clean. The pool was fabulous, the location and value for money was certainly a plus. All staff were excellent and breakfast was plentiful. Fantastic tropical garden in which hotel is sitated. large pool. Swimming pool until it was drained for retiling. nice big clean rooms stuff helpfull nice pool. The hotel is a bit far away from the central city, but by taxi it takes only 5 minutes to go the night market. If you rent a motorbike you have all the flexibility you may need on the island. Nothing i believe. Only a minor issue: English level of waiting staff could be improved (English of reception staff was excellent though). This is nitpicking, but while the breakfast was decent, we don't recommend staying here for dinner. Prices were quite high and the food wasn't all that good. Not bad, mind you, but we recommend spending a small amount to go eat fresh seafood at the night market, which is a 10 minute drive away. Hotel personnel will get you a taxi, no problem. Breakfasts are not that good Phu Quoc island itself is not ready for tourism - no roads, very few touristic spots. It will be much better in several years, I guess. The opened shower of the room we had was not built properly. The water ran to the opposite direction of the drain which turned out bathroom into a pond after each use. The staff is aware of this but is waiting for the slow season before fixing this. Other than that, the rooms were comfortable. Nothing. Fabulous place. The only down side was the location. we have stayed in Phu Quoc before and really enjoyed the atmosphere staying on the beach. This place is close to the beach, but not on it. Nothing. Noisy rooms. We don´t know why but we didn´t sleep well there and we didn´t like Phu Quoc much. I felt a bit ripped off when we paid 15% tax and then another 3% for using our credit card in the restaurant. Reception of the TV was poor, not that we went to watch TV. Few cupboards to place your clothes. Weak reading light at night. Pool was extremely warm as a result of the weather. - While the service is very poor, the waiters not knowing basic words like "napkin" and "ashtray", they impose a 5% service charge for all the food and drinks in the restaurant and even for the drinks on the mini-bar from the room. - There were electricity cuts. Wi-fi had many problems... Staff does not speak English. Every morning at 5.00am a radio on load speaker woke us up. you need motorbike for everything.no kettle in the room .staff dont speak english hard to communicate.
