I can't begin to say enough about this Chic little place. It was like a slice of heaven situated between old Hoi An city and the beach. Our suite # 188 was fantastic. had. Lovely little outdoor setting which overlooked the rice paddies and the pond with ducks and water buffaloes. Woke to the sound of ducks and slept to the sound of frogs. The pool was a wonderful relief after cycling to Hoi An..about 10 mins to the beach...10 mins. it had a wonderful view from the second floor and the idea.
all reviews » Everything! We stayed here for 7 nights for our honeymoon and we didn't want to leave. The staff were amazing - they gave us a cake on our first night and then a gift on leaving also. They knew us by name and were always friendly, helpful and welcoming. A nice surprise was also to find out some of the staff work at Vinh Hung 3 (our previous hotel) so was good to see some familiar faces. The hotel itself is amazing - set in the middle of the rice paddies, with a beautiful infinity pool on top of. Being virtually new and slightly out of town overlooking rice paddies, in a very serene spot was a bonus. The free shuttle made going to and coming from town easy.The staff were exceptional and took care of any need or request with ease. The rooms were of a high quality with top end fixtures and fittings, were cleaned immaculately and we especially enjoyed the time we spent in the top rooms. The restaurant had excellent breakfasts and the lunch and dinner specials were as good as, if not better. There are so many things we enjoyed about the Hoi An Chic. The staff were very helpful, organising lots of trips, laundry, moped, taxis etc. We even bought lots of things and they arranged for the post office to come to the hotel to send them home.They really wanted to make sure our trip was enjoyable. Breakfast was very good, a wide selection of choices. The rooms were cleaned everyday and the entire hotel and pool area were always spotless. The hotel is also a perfect distance from the beach. Hoi An Chic is beautifully situated, with stylish and comfortable facilities, including a lovely outside seating area for each room. The food, from breakfast to evening BBQs, is of a high quality and includes local dishes and flavours . The highlight however, is the wonderful staff team whose warmth and charisma take the Hoi An Chic experience to an exceptional level. From the gentleman watering the gardens in the morning, to the lovely restaurant team and the fantastic ladies on the front desk. The staff complement this boutique hotel superbly. Every aspect of staffing is exceptional. In fact, I am sure that if I didn't move for an hour, I would be washed and folded and dropped back in my room with minimal fuss! The restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was a great start for the day. You can't beat fresh local produce. We loved the jeep for the shuttle and free bikes as well The hotel is fantastic. The rooms are designed with the traveller in mind. We stayed 9 nights and never fe. At first I was a little concerned about the location (not walking distance to the old town) but very soon I realised the location is one of the many bonuses. There is a regular jeep to/from town and bicycles. We loved coming back to the serenity of our "home" in the midst of the rural setting (rice paddies, ducks, water buffalo and farming families). The staff are incredible and we were very sad to say goodbye. Our room was wonderful (great bathroom with outdoor shower/bath), lovely rooftop . Really liked their USA army jeep in which we traveled. Met a few people at breakfast, whose only remarks were HOW AWESOME IS THIS HOTEL. The hotel was beyond my expectation, and it seems some people were also not aware of how good this hotel is. The hotel was located near town, not like the fancy resorts which are located far away. The hotel has such great staff that always does everything to make sure your stay is comfortable. I love the location which is next to a green rice field. The hotel has regular shuttle buses to the old town, but you can also take a free bike cos the ride is wonderful. Everything about this hotel is green, and it is the first hotel I have been to that reuses newspaper as trash bags (the way they fold them is lovely too). Very eco friendly, and we will definitely come back!. We liked everything about this hotel! It was marvellous! It is a tiny hotel/resort, but every little detail is extremely nicely decorated. All the facilities: beds, tables, wardrobes, bath have been made from stone or bed. It all reminds me living in an ancient and friendly environment, with a little bit of old Vietnamese tradition. Highly recommended to stay at this hotel in Hoi An! A free transportation on U.S. jeep offered from hotel location to Pho Co, city centre. This was a great experience. The staff are wonderful and extremely helpful. Although the location is a wee bit out of the town, the shuttle jeeps take you in in no time. We did eat here on the first evening and this and the breakfast were terrific. The room we had was very comfortable. Nice to have the pool to relax at as well. The staff helped organise things and sorted out a short golf trip for us. Would highly recommend this hotel. We just loved our stay for so many reasons: Wonderful and peaceful location overlooking the rice paddies; close to the beach and old town by bike (you can rent them for free); nice design in the room and around the hotel; marble bathtub in an open air bathroom; pool on top of the roof; delicious breakfast; very friendly staff; they went out of their way to provide us with the most fun water buffalo tour and many more reasons... hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. Generally speak quite ok English and communication is not a problem. I booked a trip to My Son and the hotel staff prepared water and wet tissue in an ice-bag which was very considerate, to have ice water and cold tissue after a long walking in hot weather was just excellent! You can rent a bike to the beach for around 15 mins. Hoi An sunset was fantastic!. The location is great; just out of the town but an easy cycle ride or jeep shuttle in. The rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms excellent. There is a very nice pool on top of the restaurant and the breakfasts are very nice in the garden or inside. A cockeral occasionally woke us up a little early and I found the bed to be quite firm whereas I prefer soft. Only minor things though. Nothing at all! The aircon is too close to the bed which blows cold air to our heads every night, and my wife got a flu in the morning. We tried to adjust it but it didn't help much. ...that we only had 2 days there, we would have loved to stay longer. a little far away from the town. Need to take taxi for around 10mins other than the jeep shuttle time. Nothing serious: - Very noisy minibar in bedroom, turns on every 5 mins - Free bikes are a bit too small for tall European bodies. i wish the pool would have had an automatic temperature system. it was a bit too hot for my liking, which i can't blame the hotel since it's an outdoor pool :). The hotel restaurant was fairly average, but we found Hoi An to be the best place for food in Vietnam, so with the free shuttle service into town, you are spoiled for choice. The pool is not really functional for swimming. The pool and its deck are small and there are no umbrellas. Unless you're keen to be roasted you will avoid it as we did. It's not a minuses, it's only my notes for hotel - not enough towels holders at the bothroom, no amenities in individual packes as in another hotels like cotton pads and etc., will be better to give a complimentary water in closed individual bottles. Pool has inadequate shade so limited use on sunny days and closes at 8pm. Nothing. The beds are firm, small criticism it's just I like em soft. - We visited in November, still a lot of rain in Hoi An. Timing of the shuttle to town and back not always spot on but not a biggy. It won't be kept a secret for much longer.... I'm being picky but if they could have milk in the bar fridge for coffees in the room that'd be great!. - Location - Cockroaches spotted in our bedroom (which is normal in a tropical country I guess). Poor attention to detail resulted in administrative errors that nearly saw our booking cancelled a couple of months before arrival. Staff also forgot to mention a 3% surtax for use of card to pay the bill - so watch out for this, get cash out in town. Nothing really although the pool, whilst it is lovely, is beginning to need a clean. It is fine for now but am mentioning it so that it can be addressed by the staff going forward. Location. A bit far from the town but within a 5 minutes nice bike ride. The swimming pool is too small for the size of the place, it can only really accommodate 6-7 people at any one time. the internet was very poor and not value for the money. Slow delivery for laundry service. Restaurant food could have been better for evening meals. Perhaps some more wine choices too. Be careful to ask for a view of the paddy fields (if that is what you want) I booked it for this view but was put into another room with a view of the (nice) walkway. They changed it immediately for us. that we had to leave.
