The room was very clean and it was a pleasure to step out of the car to the door, just a few steps away. No lugging anything through a lobby, elevator or long hallways! It was also a quiet, beautifully kept property with very nice amenities. The innkeepers were also very pleasant. The Maple Terrace Motel is an excellent value, convenient to Williams College. Staff are friendly and helpful, room was comfortable, quiet and immaculate. Enjoyed my stay.
all reviews » The warm and inviting staff made us feel welcomed even with our late arrival. The hotel room was very clean and large. The best part was how comfortable the beds were!. The motel was clean and well kept, and the view out back was pretty. It was also very conveniently close to Williams College, which we were visiting. Clean and comfortable. The innkeeper was a delightful man..a pleasure to meet him while enjoying morning coffee in the office/breakfast nook. It was beautifully decorated, clean, with many thoughtful extra touches. The owner was very kind and friendly, delightful to talk to. The staff was warm and friendly and the rooms comfortable. It was be nice to wander the grounds but it was raining during our stay. The Maple Terrace has always been our favorite place to stay in Williamstown - we have been going there for many years. Location, the friendly, helpful, and very charming owners of the hotel. I would have liked a room with two queen beds for traveling with a family, although, as we got rooms that were next to each other, it was convenient enough. There was nothing that we didn't like. I would have enjoyed a comfortable chair to relax in but the bed served this purpose. A bit small, but no real complaints. Consider using a larger coffee maker as each time I went back to get more coffe, the pot was almost empty!! Consider offering in a large bowl of ice, some small containers of yougurt and cut fruit to go size with plastic spoons....the continental breakfast disappointed me.....but would definately rec this motel and hope to return someday!. Bad odor in room. Room too small. Poor tv and radio. Would never stay again!.
