The hotel was clean and comfortable and the 2 bed suite was as described. The kitchen was dated and needed a refresh but was functional nonetheless. The staff were friendly and willing to help. We only required an overnight stay but wanted enough space for 4 adults to relax in - this fitted the bill completely. The free wifi was good too. Everything was great. The location is near Seaworld, between Disney and Universal. You can get free "quick queue" passes for Seaworld at front desk. There is free transportation for every theme park. They receive packages for you at no extra charges. There is a pizza hut and a nice bar in the hotel. The bedroom is simple but very nice.
all reviews » We came to the Residence Inn from another hotel on International Drive that we had a terrible experience at. Residence Inn far exceeded our expecations! The room, the amenities, free breakfast, helpful staff, etc. made it absolutely worth the extra money we had to spend! I wish we had stayed there both nights of our stay!. We enjoy the Queen Ste. even though we didn't utilize all the kitchen supplies ; it was nice having the full kitchen for the refrigerator, the microwave to warm the baby's bottles, the dishwasher is awesome to have in the room. Loved that there was also a sofa bed.The room was spacious. They were awesome !! Nolan that checked us in went and bought my mom a birthday cake plus a card and candles !!! We couldn't believe someone that didn't know us did that. Everyone there was friendly and treated you so well. Thanks so much for putting a great hotel on your site. I have stayed at Residence Inn multiple times and will continue to do so. The rooms are clean, the price is right and the free breakfast means all our days start right. I really hate paying $30 for breakfast (disney!) and it only gets half eaten. Breakfast buffet was very good and saved us a lot of money. Very friendly staff at front desk and housekeeping. Our reservation was upgraded free of charge and we were given a $50 credit which paid for our dinner the last evening. Loved the outdoor pool area. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. It was awesome! The kids enjoyed grabbing snacks at the restaurant outdoors and continue swimming. The rooms were large and easily accommodated our entire family. I loved the extra space in the room. The fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and stove were really clean. Great place for out of town but there was no cookware. Not sure how someone would be able to utilize these extras. We loved the size of our accommodations, finding space for 6 is not easy, finding space for 6 that is affordable, and clean and close to our destination with out having to rent 2 separate rooms was the best!. Queen suite was spacious and everything was clean. Cleanliness is my biggest priority. Staff was very curtious and helpful. Decent array of breakfast choices. Loved the pool. Although it got quite crowed. I thought the hotel was fairly priced. They had a nice, spacious pool and the rooms were clean. Close to the main attractions in Orlando. We wished the shuttles to Universal ran with the hours of the park. We were planning on taking the shuttle service but realized it took us after the park was open. It would have been more convenient than driving, but it worked and we would stay again. The pool- small and cigarette butts were thrown where I was lounging. One of our windows didn't close all the way and we didn't figure that out till the last night. Because of that, we heard all the kids screaming in the pool till 11 and a dance group having a party. We live in the country so it was a bit hard to sleep with so much noise going on. Also the bed was rather lumpy and uncomfortable. Otherwise, we had a great stay and wonderful breakfast. The shuttle to Seaworld was nice but it ran late a lot. The room could have used a little updating like fresh carpet but that wasn't a major concern. They also needed more room to sit in the breakfast dining area. There was a family reunion going on that was VERY noisy with the people running in hallways. I wish we would have stayed in a room that has a door to close the bedroom from the living space. At times the keycard entries did not work well. I liked it all..... No server outside at the restaurant. Nothing comes to mind unless you can control the weather. We reserved 2 suites,our daughter's family suite no a/c- called desk no one came. Spent hot night in room. Felt price adjustment or another room that night for discomfort & inconvenience. Need more shuttles to SeaWorld. Late check-in. We were unable to get access to our room until after 4pm. Given the size of the hotel, there were insufficient staff at the front desk. All was great for us. Kitchenette in apartment very 'dated' and dishwasher didn't clean properly at all. Elevators and lobby carpets very dirty. Towels small and thin (old). Water very hard...should consider softener system. Did not find anything that we did not like. the breakfast was a bit dull for the US. Same thing every day-no bacon-just oatmeal which tasted too salty, sausage patties and eggs. I must say the eggs were quite nice but eating exactly the same thing for the whole week became a bit dull!!. Interior of rooms and hotel in general felt "dated"...dark, made it feel kinda dark and less than clean inside. The pillows in my room were not top quality and the bed was a little hard. Didn't have back up toilet paper, had to get extra towels sent up to room needed 5 not 4, Bathtub curved not easy for disabled guests , standard tub would have been fine,TV channel about Universal Studios would have been nice. I honestly cannot think of anything that stands out as a dislike. The front side of the hotel was extremely noisy, so bad we had to move. The rooms facing out back were so much quieter definetly keep that in mind. Nothing. Poor Breakfast, no varieties. It was a long drive for mall shopping and transportation was expensive. A person would need a car to move about. Blankets on bed with stained spots. Beds a little hard but that's a preference. The beds were uncomfortable, could feel springs and the pillows were small and lumpy. Air conditioning unit ran off and on , I think the thermostat was not fully functioning. / Front staff do not quickly know driving directions to different places in orlando. This should be automatic with quick route maps available to different attractions or in my case to different busines addresses. That I had to leave. there weren't enough blankets we got cold.
