The seductively low prices led us to think we would be in a bog standard motel. It is much superior. The breakfasts are proper set-you-up jobs and keep you firing for hours. The staff are sweet as you like, the rooms are generous with both space and kit. The location is superb. I enjoyed the pleasantness of staff and the quietness of hotel during the night. The room was very clean when we returned from or outdoor activities the room was clean and fresh for or relaxing night. And breakfast in the morning. Our stay was very enjoyable!! !!.
all reviews » The room/hotel was clean and spacious, staff was friendly, breakfast was included. Quick check in. Was pleased that this was a smoke free hotel and pet free. I think my nose is more sensitive than most, so this was a plus. I forgot my clothes in the closet of the hotel, and I was on my way to get home, when I received a call from the hotel staff to tell me about my clothes. They were very friendly and I would like to say thank you!. Security was great because the hotel desk staff could view all sides of the parking lot through security cameras. They knew we brought our bikes and left them locked to the bike rack on our vehicle. The staff, rooms were clean and updated; any problems were addressed immediately,conveniently located to all tourist sites;a very pleasureable experience; will stay again. EVerything was well maintained, spotless and designed for comfort. I'm picky about hotel rooms and found this one to be excellent. Well laid out room. Lots of channels on TV to watch. Work station was roomy. Great, clean upscale room at a very reasonable price. I liked the friendly n courtesy of the staff. Rooms were very clean n comfort.Felt like home. Smoke free the best. Shower curtain too small and wouldn't stay closed; could hear the water pipes and flushing from other rooms; also heard voices and persons walking and running on the floor above us;. Lighting (fluorescent), TV (weird cable set-up). Pool deck surface needs to be completely refinished once right. Just would be good for a back entrance - instead of just the I-35 one!. Nothing. Pool not heated enough to swim in. I think the scrambled eggs were from powder The sausage was overly fatty Would have liked luggage stand Bananas / fruit. Fitness was very small and did not have weigths for exercises. walls were thin... heard people upstairs in the halls until around 2am. nothing. Pool and hot tub were a tad small and crowded. There was hair on the bathtub and soap wrapper trash in the tub. Not real sure if the tub had been cleaned. Was a real let down because the rest of the room was very nice. No soundproofing between floors and walls. Nothing. I hated the pillows. One was too small and two were too much. The worst pillows we have ever seen except in a Motel 6 or some other low priced mom and pop motel. Too small, not very user friendly. One pillow not enough, two was too many. Did not sleep well. We had a room on the bottom level. There was a group upstairs that was very noisy and woke us up very early in the morning. Sounded like running and stomping. Found out it was a girls soccer team. Suggestion Would be to put groups like that on lower level away from other guests or and some type of sound barrier between floors. We had a group of. 8 rooms reserved and everyone complained about the noise.
